Another Sweet Splinterlands Victory

For those that have read some of my past posts, I get satisfaction when I win against stronger cards through good strategy (or good lucky)

I won against a llama again

I thought in this match the opposing team used a very effective strategy, because this was opportunity rule set, the spirit of the forest was likely to be the last remaining monster. and then the llamas last stand will kick in.

Normally a spirit of the forest would be no good at last stand, but this was a close range ruleset too.

So I commend their strategy it would work a dream, because the spirt of the forest will have 9 speed when its last stand, and render most attacks useless.

So how did I win?

With mostly just common monsters, but near the end I was left with two slow monsters, trying to attack a 9 speed monster

lucky for True Strike ability!

This is where true strike is really valuable particularly opportunity rulesets. the reason is often in opportunity rule sets, players use a fast 12 health flying monster, like spark pixies, which survives most of the opportunity attacks. that's why I like to platy a Charlock Minotaur, so clear out the fast creatures.

This worked really well in this case.
