My thoughts about Land Cards as a small Land owner!

Hey everyone, something else but still Splinterlands related to talk about: The Land Expansion!
While my land plans have been paused for the last months because my 'fun money' was going in to cycling gear this is a good time to reflect on that, think more about what I will do and talk about this awesome update, yet another cool thing to add to the world of Praetoria!
I really like the plans to include Land more in to game play and even guilds when guilds get the overhaul, and these times are great for loading up on DEC to stake on our lands while it's so much under the 1000 DEC to $1 peg value, DEC is worth $0.0005819 at the time of making this post so roughly at a 40% discount meaning for every $100 you put in to land staked DEC, you're now getting 171.000 DEC.
It's good to plan ahead!
I am writing this post to participate in this weeks Community Engagement Challenge, the Inaugural Land Card Edition, the task is to make a post about exploring our ideas and thoughts as players, I'm sure this is different for everyone, depending on how invested they are in Land and their future plans.
To find out how you can participate in the challenge yourself, check out the official Splinterlands post here.

My land plots
Because I have to primary accounts, one Wild and one Modern I wanted to get the 5% ranked play boost for both of them, so I've spread my land commitment out these two accounts to get the 'Warden' prefix and the 5% boost, I think long term the 5% is a pretty big boost!
On average my accounts earn 3 to 4 SPS for every win, meaning the 5% boost gives somewhere around 0.15 - 0.2 SPS extra, pretty nice!
In total I own 15 plots, primarily commons and a couple of them are rare plots.
Snapshot for allocation rights
Introducing the Land Cards, the team made a pretty neat system to prevent the whales could just create all available Land Cards for themselves: a snapshot was created and for the first three days after launch players with allocation rights earned the rights to craft the cards before everyone else can, when you don't use the rights, after three days they vanish and the cards go in to the pool of unminted cards.
Apparently only ACTIVE plots earn allocation rights, one of my accounts only has one active plot and it didn't got any rights, the other received a small amount.

The Land Cards
For every rarity there is one land card so this set is REALLY small compared to other sets, I am not going to copy paste the complete info on all the cards, the team made a post about the cards and all the info is there.

I think what's important for smaller players only interested in low level cards because high level cards are simply too expensive is that although from level 3 and up, they have the energized ability so there is no need for the 5000 DEC power core for every land plot, this cards does takes up one space as a worker.
Even small land owners will probably have 1000 P.P workers on their activated plots, this reduces the productivity on a plot significantly and the bountyful ability, giving a 5 or 10% boost depending on the card level does not make up for this in my opinion.

So, while the higher rarity cards do also give a discount in required staked DEC on our land plots, I will probably mint the cards to sell them, and use the DEC I get to put on my land plots to activate more of them.
Don't get me wrong, these cards are great for the big land players, providing awesome boosts but I think as a smaller player there's no real benefit, besides using your allocation rights if you've received any.

The fact that Land is becoming a more important factor with plans to include them in to the guilds did made me decide to start planning ahead for activating more plots because I've only have about 50% of my plots active at the moment, since every plot requires roughly 50k staked DEC plus 5k more for the power core, that was $300 in DEC alone in the past when DEC was close to peg, and then it still needs workers.
This now has changed but I don't think this will stay like this forever, especially when the changes have been implemented and players see how valuable land can be to boost their game play and guild.

I will go through other players post about this topic to see what their plans and idea's are, it's surely another interesting thing among many added to the game.
