Analyzing My Splinterlands Battles With Alteryx

Alteryx is a data analytics / ETL tool that I used to use regularly. I say 'used to' because it isn't free software and once you leave a company with a license, it isn't practical to pay a couple of thousand dollars for personal projects. Which is a shame because it is a good tool.

Anyway, They now have a trial copy for three months on offer if you're thinking of switching careers into analytics. I duly signed up for it and I think my Splinterlands battles is a good place to start with analysis.

This is the workflow I created to analyze my last 50 battles. There are two data sources for now - the Splinterlands last 50 battles API call and also the Peakmonsters card list to compare the card IDs and get the card name.

I wish the API could give the details directly but there's some combining to be done. And now for the output:

And so now I can analyze my winning decks for different battle rules and mana caps.
