The Value Of A Tank Healer In The Lineup

Sometimes, when the lineups are revealed, you expect the battle to be a loss. Then over the course of the battle, you are pleasantly surprised. I find that tends to happen when you have a healer on your team.

Here's a battle that I thought I had no hope:

Why did I think I had no hope? For starters, His Lord Arianthus' Shield reduced the damage of my melee and range attacks. Then coupled with his Mylor Crowling's Thorns ability on all cards meant that my Torhilo The Frozen would take 2 damage on every attack. Also, he had all legendary and higher level cards.

Yet, if you were to watch the match, my Crustacean King kept me in the match by healing the life of Torhilo. That's the value of having a Tank Healer.

Not That Many Level 1 Tank Healers

There aren't that many level 1 tank healers available. Only the Life, Earth and Water Splinters have one.

Keeping your tank alive longer can swing the outcome of a battle in your favor. Especially if the tank has the taunt ability so that the rest of your team doesn't take any damage.

Which is why the Crusatcean King and Kraken are such a good combo. Another one is the Shieldbearer and Divine Healer.
