RE: Why I Continue to Support Splinterlands and the Team

I myself am caught being overly critical sometimes and some in the past have often mistaken my positions as a direct attack on the team or on other players with opposing views. I want to echo your sentiment. People who are passionate about this game can often appear overly critical but their intentions are more often than not genuine. Weird Beard get's it along with the other Devs and it's great to see in the AMA's when they respond compassionately to the plight and struggles of the community. The success of this game is in the hands of all of us, not just the Devs and that it's okay to disagree or have strong sentiments on both sides of the fence. We need that to find balance and create solutions and when there is a dicrepency in fairness to one side or the other and resolve it in a way that is beneficial. It doesn't mean people being critical of Dev's or voted decisions are against the Dev's or the community, in fact it's quite the opposite. Accountability and 'keeping people honest' in the spirit of fairness and equal opportunity is and should always be at the forefront of a decentralised democracy and economy as in the case with p2e gaming and pushing the game to new heights. If no one challenges an idea, or raises issues then we end up with a bunch of yes people and a game direction that may end up being manipulated by a few and then the game dies and we all lose.

P.S Another great post. Keep em coming, I am always scrolling past peoples daily rewards posts and giveaways in search of something with a little more meat and you've delivered again. :)

Agreed, if your intentions are anything but that, you don't value your own time.

Agreed. I could be completely wrong with my argument, but the process can cause the other side to strengthen theirs or see things in a different light.
