Upcoming Splinterlands Ability #4 : Resurgence

Let's continue our exploration about the new ability that is soon coming to the Splinterlands. For those who unaware of the newest series that going to launch on Splinterlands, you can check the post from Splinterlands team about the conclave arcana on https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/introducing-conclave-arcana , there are new abilities will introduced to the game.

As preparation, let's analyze the abilities, so we can having the early start either to create a tactics or reaping the good cards with cheaper price.

Now, lt's move to Resurgence ability.

What is this Resurgence bring ?
According to the Splinterlands's post :

Resurgence: Self-resurrects once per battle with 100% health and armor. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Skips turn. Deals 1 physical damage to all units.

Okay, so this is like the resurrection ability, but is applied only to the monster with the resurgence ability. What make it better than the old resurrection is that the monster will come back with 100% health (the old one just 1 HP) and 100% armor as well ! This mean we can completely having the full monster back. And all magic debuffs will removed, while the magic buff reapplied. Imagine you have trying so hard to eliminate the monster, after giving all debuff to them, just to see them going back alive with no debuff and all buff applied. Could be a very annoying ability on the tough monster 😡

But we need to also pay attention that this monster will skip 1 turn, if the enemies is having deadly hitter, the monster might eliminated as well. And the resurrection will also deals 1 physical damage to all units. So you need carefully use this monster to not hurt your own team and eliminate you hitter, but this could help trigger the painforge that we talked about yesterday 🤔

I think this ability would be given to a tough units that will become a new tank meta, but let's see which monster will have it once the unpack is live ! ✌️
