An inspiring pirate - Splinterlands Weekly challenge

For once, let's try to play a card that I hardly ever play, Pirate Captain.

Pour une fois, essayons de jouer une carte que je ne joue quasiment jamais, Pirate Captain. Merci à splinterlands pour ces challenges et pour aider la communauté.

Pirate Captain is quite weak at level 1. In a color with a strong magic card dominance, the pirate rarely fits into a deck if you only have the basic cards.

On the other hand, if we start with a physical deck, Pirate captain can quickly hurt. From level 2, it does 2 ranged damage with snipe for only 3 mana which makes it a very good stats / cost ratio.

In addition, from lvl 6, he gains the inspire ability which boosts ally melee damage. Coupled with the demanted shark that many had in the old Rewards, we can have a significant boost in melee damage.

Pirate Captain est une assez faible au lvl 1. Dans une couleur a forte dominance de carte magique, le pirate rentre rarement dans un deck si on possède seulement les cartes de base.

Par contre, si on part sur un deck physique, Pirate captain peut rapidement faire mal. Des le lvl 2, il fait 2 de dégâts à distance avec snipe pour seulement 3 de mana ce qui en fait un très bon ratio stats/coût.

De plus, à partir du lvl 6, il obtient la capacité inspire qui permet de booster les dégâts de mélée allié. Couplée avec demanted shark que beaucoup ont eu dans les anciennes Reward, on peut partir sur un boost conséquent des dégâts de mélée.

De plus, avec l'inversion de vitesse, cela en fait une très bonne carte.
	Venari Wavesmith is still a good card for its cost even if you're not playing a magic deck. The protect ability is very strong in low lvl because it can greatly increase the survivability of our cards.	Venari wavesmith est toujours une bonne carte pour son coût même si on joue pas un deck magique. La capacité protect est très forte dans les bas lvl parce qu'elle peut augmenter grandement la capacité de survie de nos cartes.
	Crustacean king is played for his tank heal ability. As mentioned, we hope with Bortus and Sea monster outheal the enemy damage each turn.	Crustacean king est joué pour sa capicité de tank heal. Comme mentionné, on espére avec Bortus et Sea monster outheal les dégâts adverse chaque tour.
	Pirate Captain last. In this fight, the last card was not particularly important but going on a sniper is possibly killing the different fairies with 1 HP populating the magic decks is quite correct.	Pirate Captain en dernier. Dans ce combat, la dernière carte n'était pas spécialement important mais partir sur un sniper est éventuellement tuer les différentes fée avec 1 HP peuplant les deck magiques est plutôt correct.

The fight was done on my second account. My opponent did not play the magic deck I expected but the result is there.

Le combat a été effectué sur mon second compte. Mon adversaire n'est pas partie sur le deck magique que j'attendais mais le résultat est là.

Pirate is really not useful at level 1. The card has no synergy with the other base cards that the game offers.

But if you are lucky enough to have it at level 2 or 6, then the card becomes much more valuable. In the first case, that just makes it a very good card for its cost.

In the second, with other cards that are generally underplayed and underrated, we can play a fairly strong physical and anti-magic deck with a summoner like Bortus.

It should also be mentioned that it is one of the rare common to have such a big power boost between level 1 and 2.

Pirate est vraiment pas utile au niveau 1. La carte n'a pas de synergie avec les autres cartes de base que le jeu propose.

Mais si vous avez la chance de l'avoir au niveau 2 ou 6, la carte prend alors beaucoup plus de valeur. Dans le premier cas, cela en fait juste une très bonne carte pour son coût.

Dans le second, avec d'autres cartes généralement sous-jouée et sous-cotée, on peut jouer un deck physique et anti-magique assez fort avec un summoner come Bortus.

Il faut aussi mentionné que c'est une des rares commune a avoir un aussi gros boost de puissance entre le lvl 1 et 2.
