Humiliation is too strong word tbh.
Have you noticed ceiling in your daily laddering?
You miss some cards, cards lvls etc.
During early season you fight against players from your "ceiling lvl" and above.
Easiest way to avoid it is to rent your deck for few days and let them pass you.
