I got 5 of the cards in the airdrop. So I had to buy one more and at least get it to level 3. It's kind of unfortunate to have a card that is between levels. Level 3 is still pretty useful all the way up to Gold League, and even in Diamond and beyond, a level 3 legendary card can still be pretty powerful.

These are exciting and frightening times. The Chaos Legion cards seem very impressive, but the overall value of the older cards is dropping pretty rapidly. I won't worry too much... I'll just try to buy some if I see good deals. When the new playing formats arrive in January and when land is introduced into the game, the old cards may start to rise in value again.

I see a lot of new games entering the market lately that are trying to copy the incredible success of Splinterlands. I’m glad I bought $100 of SteemMonsters cards back in 2018… now worth $10,000 … and the SPS, plots and DEC are worth even more. It’s incredible. I wish I had not sold some for Bitcoin.
