Hello Awesome Splinterlands Community 👋. I'm here to share my profound thoughts and insight in response to the Splinterlands social media challenge. I really feel that the only good thing you can do on the Splinterlands application is to enter and play battles. The Splinterlands mobile app isn't optimised to its fullest and I'll be clearly stating my reasons for saying so. I'd also be talking about the things I feel should be added to the game in general.

You can't purchase a spellbook on the Splinterlands app

This is the building block of Splinterlands, without a spellbook one wouldn't benefit from the game. After downloading the app and trying to purchase a spellbook, one would be told to go to the site and do so. I feel that it makes the process long and tedious because why can't it be done straight from the app instead.

You can't play tournaments or events on the mobile app

Ever since I joined the game, I keep seeing the same thing 'Coming Soon' on the mobile app for tournaments and events. People like me don't like playing games from websites, I mean Splinterlands should incorporate all these things in the app so that it'll make the game less complicated

Can't purchase Card Packs

The app doesn't allow users to purchase cards or packs from the app directly. I feel 90 percent of Splinterlands can only be done through the website which isn't cool mainly for android users.

Can't rent or buy cards on the app
Cards can't be bought or rented on the Splinterlands app except one goes to their website. Then what's the major use of the app? Was it meant for only battles? 🤔

Can't buy Dec or sps from the app

One can't also trade Dec or sps from the app, almost all the game's transactions and activities happen outside the app. Sometimes I feel Splinterlands didn't really have an app in mind or maybe people don't use the app that much.

THINGS THAT NEED TO BE ADDED TO THE GAME

Social Features

Splinterlands should improve the social aspects of the game, such as in-game chat. We need to have Emojis or a text to be able to interact with our opponents in someway or the other. This feature will encourage player interaction and collaboration.

Gameplay Enhancements

Splinterlands should refine the gameplay mechanics for a better user experience. They should Consider adding new game modes or features to diversify one's gaming experience.

Collaborations and Crossovers

The Splinterlands team needs to explore collaborations with other popular franchises, brands, characters etc for special edition cards or events.
They should Consider crossover events that bring characters from different universes into the realm of Splinterlands. Wouldn't that be so cool?
