Splinterlands Update ENG/GER

Hello dear Splinterlands friends,

Another week has passed in Splinterlands and, as always, there is a lot to report.

Among other things, the next Air Drop Kart was introduced, but there is also information about the future Season Chest and there will be a comprehensive update for the gladiator cards!

I am very curious about your opinion on the future changes and hope you enjoy reading.

Venka the Vile has been introduced

For many players, Venka the Vile should be a long-awaited card. Because with his abilities finally comes a GRIMBARDUN SMITH counter and that was overdue in my opinion. The announcement is already making itself felt on the market. The price of GRIMBARDUN SMITH has come back noticeably from its highs of over 7 $.

There is also another positive surprise: the chances required for the airdrop have risen less than many would have expected. For 275 chances you are sure to get a card. This means that the required chances have "only" increased by 25 chances. In my opinion, this is also due to the fact that hardly any packs have been sold recently.

How is the current airdrop going?

Everything is also going according to plan with the Kai Airdrop. I will soon reach the required 250 chances and finish at just over 300 chances. That should put me in a good position for both Venka the Vile and the next map.

After that, I'll have to think about whether to keep buying Rebellion cards or switch to the much cheaper Chaos Legion. At the moment I'm still undecided and want to at least get the Dual Element Summoners up to max level.

Changes to gladiator cards

Gladiator cards have been part of the game for a very long time. These are to receive a comprehensive update.

• In the future, you will receive merrits for burning gladiator cards and no longer DEC
• The cards will also be made tradable
• Merrits will be available for purchase

Due to these measures, we will see many more Max Gladiator cards on the field in the future. We are also currently seeing a burn trend. Many are now burning their surplus gladiator cards and taking the DEC with them.

Personally, I'm not taking any action and am observing the whole thing from a distance. I hope that so many cards will be burned now that I can sell my unneeded cards.

Changes in the chests

The first change is that there will soon be no more SPS to win in the chests. On the one hand, this will increase the chance of getting cards from the chests, on the other hand, another source of SPS will disappear.

Personally, I think the change is a shame. I was always very happy to receive a chest with a high number of SPS. It didn't matter to me whether I had this chest or it was drawn by someone else. There was just a minimal chance that every chest would be a big prize.

A new Soulbound set is also coming and the old one will be unlockable from this moment on. So far we know that you have to use DEC to unlock it and then you can trade the cards as normal. Here too, it will be very exciting to see how these cards level out in terms of value. Personally, I own a few GFL and EFL, which I would sell if in doubt.

I've only heard about the latest change from the rumor mill so far. The Daily Chest is to be abolished and instead the points won will be credited to an account.

These can then be spent freely on all kinds of chests. Personally, I think this change would be great and I'm curious to see if it will actually happen.

wieder ist eine Woche in Splinterlands vergangen und es gibt wie immer einiges zu berichten.

Unteranderem wurde die nächste Air Drop Kart vorgestellt, aber es gibt auch Informationen zu den zukünftigen Season Chest und bei den Gladiatoren Karten soll es umfassendes Update geben!

Ich bin sehr gespannt auf Eure Meinung zu den zukünftigen Änderungen und wünsche Euch viel Spaß beim Lesen.

Venka the Vile wurde vorgestellt

Für viele Spieler dürfte Venka the Vile eine sehr lang ersehnte Karte sein. Denn mit seinen Fähigkeiten kommt endlich ein GRIMBARDUN SMITH Counter und der war aus meiner Sicht überfällig. Auf dem Markt macht sich die Ankündigung bereits bemerkbar. Der Preis von GRIMBARDUN SMITH ist von seinen Höchstständen von über 7 $ spürbar zurückgekommen.

Ebenfalls gibt es eine weitere positive Überraschung den benötigten Chancen für den Airdrop stiegen weniger stark an, als viele erwartet hättet. Für 275 Chancen bekommt man sicher eine Karte. Damit sind die benötigten Chancen "nur" um 25 Chancen angestiegen. Dies liegt aus meiner Sicht auch daran, dass zuletzt kaum noch Packs verkauft wurden.

Wie läuft es beim aktuellen Airdrop

Beim Kai Airdrop läuft ebenfalls alles nach Plan. Ich werde in kürze die benötigten 250 Chancen erreichen und bei etwas über 300 Chancen auslaufen. Damit dürfte ich sowohl für Venka the Vile, als auch die dann folgende Karte ausreichend aufgestellt sein.

Danach muss ich mir Gedanken machen, ob ich weiter Rebellion Karten dazu kaufe oder auf die deutlich günstigeren Chaos Legion umsteige. Aktuell bin ich hier noch unentschlossen und will zumindest die Dual Element Summoner noch auf Max Level bringen.

Änderungen bei Gladiatoren Karten

Gladiatoren Karten sind bereits seit sehr langer Zeit ein Bestandteil des Spiels. Diese sollen ein umfassendes Update erhalten.

• Zukünftig sollen man für das burnen von Gladiatoren Karten Merrits erhalten und keine DEC mehr
• Ebenfalls sollen die Karten handelbar gemacht werden
• Merrits sollen käuflich erwerblich werden

Durch diese Maßnahmen werden wir zukünftig viel mehr Max Gladiatoren Karten auf dem Spielfeld sehen. Ebenfalls sehen wir aktuell einen burn Trend. Viele Burnen jetzt noch Ihre überschüssigen Gladiatoren Karten und nehmen die DEC mit.

Persönlich werde ich nicht tätig und beobachte das ganze mit etwas Abstand. Ich hoffe, dass jetzt so viele Karten geburnt werden, dass ich meine nicht benötigten Karten gut verkaufen kann.

Änderungen in den Chests

Als erste Änderung soll es zeitnah keine SPS mehr in den Chest zu gewinnen geben. Dadurch steigt auf der eine Seite die Chance Karten aus den Chests zu holen, auf der anderen Seite verschwindet eine weitere Quelle SPS zu erhalten.

Ich persönlich finde die Änderung sehr schade. Ich habe mich immer sehr über eine Truhe mit einer hohen SPS Anzahl gefreut. Dabei war es mir ganz egal, ob ich diese Truhe hatte oder sie von jemand fremden gezogen wurde. Es gab einfach eine minimale Chance, dass jede Truhe ein großer Gewinn ist.

Ebenfalls soll ein neues Soulbound Set kommen und das alte wird ab diesen Moment freischaltbar werden. Bisher ist bekannt, dass man für das freischalten DEC einsetzen muss und die Karten danach normal handeln kann. Auch hier wird es sehr spannend werden wie sich diese Karten vom Wert her einpendeln. Persönlich besitze ich ein paar GFL und EFL, welche ich im Zweifel verkaufen würde.

Die letzte Änderung habe ich bisher nur aus der Gerüchteküche gehört. Die Daily Chest sollen abgeschafft werden und stattdessen werden die gewonnen Punkte auf einem Konto guteschrieben.

Diese können dann ganz frei für alle Art von Truhen ausgegeben werden. Persönlich würde ich diese Änderung großartig finden und bin gespannt, ob sie wirklich kommt.
