Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Armored Up - Modern Diamond Ranked

Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with the Armored Up rule set!

Armored Up is a rule set that grants +2 armor to every monster. It's pretty simple, and doesn't restrict anything, but it changes the game. There are 2 main strategies for this rule set: make use of the armor or fight the enemy armor. You can make use of the armor with Repair, Void Armor, and Armored Strike. You can fight it by making it worse or even ignoring it. Magic is a great way to ignore armor (unless they have Void Armor) but Piercing also makes armor way less effective. Rust and Shatter fight the armor directly and there's also the new Corrosive Ward. Immortalis is especially good against armor.

This game also has the Keep Your Distance and the Equalizer rule sets. The top player went with Jacek and 2 speedsters (monsters that buff the speed of the team). They clearly have a big speed advantage. The bottom player went with Sloan, several archers, and Iziar with the Taunt and Martyr. The top player's strategy with Jacek bypasses the Taunt, although I'm not the biggest fan of Jacek with Equalizer. For the first few rounds not much was happening but the top player was creating an advantage. Their attacks weren't spreading too much and most of them were avoiding Iziar and Pelacor Conjurer. They ended up killing Venari Crystalsmith twice. Chaos Agent was dodging many attacks and Pelacor Arbalest also died to the Backfire. Soon after, only Conjurer and Iziar were left and there was no hope left for the bottom player. Chaos Agent was probably the MVP of this game.
