Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Unprotected - Ranked Diamond

Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with the Unprotected rule set!

Unprotected makes it so that no monster can have armor. This negates armor from all sources and it can't be repaired. It doesn't matter if it's coming from the monster itself, from another ability, or even a Summoner. There is no armor in this rule set. This is a somewhat interesting rule set. While it is a bit frustrating to have some monsters nerfed, it also opens up new strategies. One of my favorite ones is using Possibilus the Wise because it's much easier to get the Trample going when there's no armor. Some monsters and Summoners become much worse. Grandmaster Rathe becomes almost useless. Immortalis also loses a bit of utility but it can still be great. Diemonshark is a good example of a monster I like using in this rule set, despite the nerf. Sure, it loses all that armor but it also becomes Enraged much faster.

This game also has the Lost Magic and Fire and Regret rule sets. I used some of the cards I mentioned in the strategies: Possibilus and Diemonshark. I also went with Venator Kinjo for more speed control, Venari Marksrat to take advantage of the Fire and Regret, and Deeplurker because it's a great card. With 2 slots and 1 mana left, I placed Chaos Agent and Fiend in the back to get some Sneak protection. They went with Lux Vega and had 2 Sneak monsters, which was good for me. My Chaos Agent only dodged 1 attack but my Deeplurker poisoned their healer, taking it out on the first turn. Diemonshark got some trample action and Marksrat used Snare to take away the flying ability from Pelacor Bandit. After this, the game was over for them. I don't think they built a very good team for this rule set. Lux Vega and Merdaali Guardian lose a lot of utility if there's no armor.
