Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Up to Eleven - Modern Diamond Ranked

Hello everyone! This is my first entry for this week's Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge with the Up to Eleven rule set!

Up to Eleven is not the most interesting rule set but it's also not one that creates uninteresting games. There are three possibilities for this rule set. You can choose to ignore it and play the same cards you would if it didn't exist; you can choose to prepare to for the opponent's possible use of Magic Reflect, Thorns, and Return Fire; and you can choose to use those abilities yourself. You can also opt to have both of the last options. There's no way to know which option is correct, it all depends on other rule sets, available mana and splinters and trying to guess what the opponent is doing. You might go with Thorns and face a team without melee monsters.

This game also has the Return Fire rule set. I basically ignored the Up to Eleven and went with a fairly typical Immortalis team, with Fungus Flinger for the easy marty with Return Fire. Up to Eleven does help it get killed faster. My opponent went pretty hard on the rule set. Their summoner gives Magic Reflect to every monster and their first 2 and last monsters have Thorns. Immortalis Void helps a lot against the Magic Reflect. I killed their first 2 tanks in the first 2 turns but Mycelic Slipspawn also died on the reflect. Their next 2 monsters also died quickly and my Martyr also died. The game was basically over as I took out their last 2 monsters. This is a fantastic example of a game where my opponent had every type of reflect on their team to make use of the Up to Eleven but had several useless monsters that couldn't attack for most of the game. I was able to easily beat that with a strong team for most types of games.
