This is a ranked Diamond match. The game has the following rule sets: Maneuvers, Equal Opportunity (which makes Maneuvers irrelevant), and Up Close & Personal. Astral Entity is a great summoner for this combination of rule sets and we both had the same thought. I placed Arkemis the Bear and Mantaroth in the first 2 positions. I followed it up with Dumacke Orc, Harklaw, Disintegrator, and Cursed Windeku. I placed Dumacke Orc in the middle instead of putting it in the back because, if they played water with Captain Fellblade, it would kill my monster with one hit. Since the Sneak takes priority over Opportunity, that monster wouldn't attack the Orc. Their first 2 monsters are the same as mine but they opted for Cursed Windeku next. The rest of the cards are different: Uraeus, Pallus, and Night Ghoul. It is a good strategy to use a Taunt next to a Lookout in these rule sets. However, the Forcefield does not have good synergy with this because the damage is reduced before the Forcefield check.

They didn't play Captain Fellblade but putting Orc in the middle was also good protection against Uraeus, because of the Poison. In round 1 no monsters died but round 2 they killed my Orc for the first time. In response, I killed their Taunt, it got Resurrected but Pallus died in the next Blast attack. In the next one, my Mantaroth took out their 2 back monsters, and a few other attacks got rid of their Windeku. My Mantaroth kept doing a lot of damage and finished the Bear, next. It was my whole team against their Mantaroth with the attack reduced to 1 and there was nothing it could do. I managed to win the game with a full team.
