Battle of the Day #156

This is a ranked Diamond match. The game had the following rule sets: Broken Arrows, Aim True, and Four's a Crowd. It was a 44 mana game with Fire, Death, and Dragon available. I went with Akane and placed Arkemis the Bear in front. I followed it up with Rage and Riftwing. I finished the team with Oshuur Constantia. They opted for Lily Shieldpaw with Grimbardun Smith and Rage in the first two positions. They also had Oshuur Constantia next and finished with Venka the Vile.

I gave Ambush to Rage and Riftwing. Those attacks put the Smith at 6 HP. During the first round, we traded attacks, and when it was time for the Oshuurs to attack, I won the coin flip and attacked first. Grimbardun was at 1 HP, so I got to kill it right there. That was a very important hit of RNG! The Smith got Resurrected and Healed back to 4, but it was still great. My Bear got hit with the Affliction, though. In the following round, my magic attacks took out the Smith for good. Arkemis was down to 6 HP already. In the third round, Arkemis survived at 1 HP, and I was slowly dealing damage to their Rage. Round 4 was when their Rage got taken down with the help of Arkemis hitting. Venka finished it, but it got Resurrected. Furthermore, they lost the Oshuur coinflip again, so Arkemis survived, and they only had Venka left. There was nothing Venka could do and the game ended in round 5.
