Battle of the Day #178

This is a ranked Champion match. The game had the following rule sets: Heavy Metal, Ferocity, and Heavy Hitters. It was a 30 mana game with Fire, Earth, and Life available. I went with Bella Ratajowlski, placing Moribund Arrowbait in front. I followed it up with the Weapons Training combination of Nimbledook Explorer and Moxian Rebel. I finished the team with two units that could take advantage of the Bloodline Tribute: Thunderous Herald and Arcane Skinwalker. They opted for Lorkus and started with Oridum Graybrow and Vicious Giraffe. Next, they had Continuum Seer and Forked-Tongue Sage. They finished with Halfshell Seer. They gave Life Leech and Affliction to Graybrow and Continuum Seer.

The Continuum Seer killed my Moribund for the first time, and the Giraffe's attack got rid of the armor. Skinwalker and Herald killed the Graybrow for the first time. Spite just dealt 2 damage to the Herald's armor. The Halfshell Seer eliminated the Moribund for good, and the rest of my units left the Graybrow at 1 HP. In round 2, my Explorer took some attacks, losing all of its armor to Shatter. The Skinwalker finished the Graybrow, but Spite only dealt some damage to its armor. The Halfshell Seer finished my Explorer and the Giraffe went down to 2 HP. In the third round, they put my Rebel to 1 HP before Skinwalker got the Giraffe. The Herald put the Continuum Seer at 3 HP, and their ranged unit finished the Rebel. In the following round, Continuum attacked and went up to 5 HP. Skinwalker could have finished it, but it missed. The Herald also missed, which was very unlucky, given it's just a 3 difference in speed, for both. Their two other units put the Herald at 1 HP. In round 5, Continuum killed my Herald and went up to 6 HP. Skinwalker hit, this time, but it survived at 1 HP. The rest of their units attacked, and my Skinwalker went down to just 1 armor and 6 HP. In the sixth round, the Skinwalker went down to 3, but it finally eliminated their Continuum. The rest of their attacks put the Skinwalker to 1 HP and no armor. However, Reckless did enough damage that it killed Forked-Tongue Sage after this attack. With only a ranged unit left on their side, I finished the game in round 8.
