Battle of the Day #2

This is a ranked Diamond match. The game has the following rule sets: Born Again and Counterspell. Despite the Counterspell, I went with Doctor Blight because it has a high chance of survival with many monsters to feed the Scavenger because of the Born Again. I put Vruz just in front of it to take any Sneak attacks and buff Doctor Blight twice. Next to it, I put Dhampir Infiltrator to also abuse the Martyr buff with the Double Strike. Since it's low mana, I put the Fiend and Kra'ar Xoc in the first position to take some damage and trigger Redemption twice. The Quix choice was simply because I wanted to play Dragon monsters and it's the cheapest Dragon summoner mana-wise. They went with Eternan Brune because they wanted to play Orella Abadon. They went with Iidri Fyre to protect their Bloodlust monster and filled the rest of the team with Chaos Agent and the Fiend that lowers melee attack, which was pretty good against me.

I attacked their Taunt and they got the first Bloodlust kill. However, I was able to stick poison, reducing Iidri's health to 2. In round 2, I killed Iidri for the first time but took the Redemption which killed Vruz the second time. My Doctor Blight got to 3 speed so it attacked before Orella and killed their tank for the second time. The second Redemption allowed Orella to deal the final 4 damage points to my Infiltrator, killing it for the first time. Thankfully, it still had more speed than Orella so it killed it next round. It revived, but it wouldn't get to attack. Docter Blight took out the Fiend's first life. The next round was similar, with my monsters killing Orella and Fiend again. The worst-case scenario would be that my monsters would always miss Chaos Agent and we would enter Fatigue. Since my Kra'ar Xoc had so much health, it would outlast Chaos Agent and I would have won. That didn't happen, and my monsters didn't miss, so I won the game faster.
