Christmas Skins in Splinterlands

Hello everyone! Today I'm gonna talk about the Christmas Skins introduced in Splinterlands. While we wait for the purchasable skins, the team has provided some themed temporary ones for Christmas, just like they did for Halloween.

The first thing we can notice is the screen where we start our ranked battles:

Very beautiful art, especially for the Modern screen. The reward chests have also been given a makeover:

Nothing special but it's a nice touch. Let's take a look at the cards that got different art:

I love the snowman on top of the gadget! Very cool.

Using Christmas decorations as weapons. Good idea and well implemented.

Grimbardun Smith is a card I have maxed out so I'll be seeing this art very often. For some reason, for me, it's showing the regular art on the lore page. I don't know if it happens to everyone. I showed the lore page on the other cards because that way we can look at the full art.

As you can see, Grimbardun got a huge makeover! Other than the body and a non white beard, he didn't look like Santa but he can clearly dress up as Santa. All he needed were clothes, a recolored beard, a bag instead of the hammer, and. Christmas doll instead of his Smithing tool. It's like his art had been done with this in mind because the pose is perfect for Santa.

I really like what they did with the bow and arrows!

Probably the least impressive of all of these but the snow balls instead of the magic balls are cool.

And finally we have Eternal Tofu. I'm pretty sure opponents of Tofu will be even more scared of facing it than before. It was given a green treatment, which reminds me of Grinch. It's fitting because Tofu usually steals the opponent's Christmas. I like the full art here because it lets us see the other 2 cats. The smallest one didn't become green but looks nice with the Christmas decoration in the mouth.
