Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Immortalis Mirror

Hello everyone! This is my first entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked.

I fought an interesting battle where we both played with the legendary summoner Immortalis.

This game has the following rule sets: Reverse Speed, Broken Arrows, and Odd Ones Out. We played two very similar. It's not just the same summoner, 4 out of 6 monsters are the same and they are in the same positions! My fourth monster is Spirit Hoarder because I wanted to have Triage. The third monster was the last card I chose and it seemed the best option for the 7 mana I had available. Nerfing melee attacks was the main reason I picked it. They went with Regal Peryton and Scavo Technomancer. Technomancer seems great especially because of the Rust ability. Regal Peryton was probably their last pick with the 5 mana available. There are 2 more differences though. My Bramble Pixie is only at level 1, while theirs is at the max level. I only picked this card because it's Reverse Speed to take advantage of the 1 speed stat. The max level has much more speed but it also has more attack and Heal. The other difference is that their Nalara Geinek is at level 3 but that's just 1 more health and Stun for mine. The 2 most important cards are Mantaroth and Mycelic Slipspawn and we both recognized that.

I brought Triage to heal my Taunt monster but it was taking just 2 damage per turn (or 1 when I hit the Stun). That means it was healing my Bramble Pixie. Since mine was hitting the attacks and theirs wasn't, I started having a big health advantage on my Mantaroth. In round 4, theirs died. After that, I had a lot of damage on the front and they didn't. Their monsters started falling and eventually, I won without losing a single monster!
