Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Maneuvering A Win

Hello everyone! This is my first entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in a Alpha + Chaos Legion Diamond Tournament.

I fought an interesting battle with the Maneuvers rule set.

This game has the following rule sets: Maneuvers, Stampede, and Target Practice. I decided to go with Arkemis the Bear in the front and Jared Scar for the Reach position. For the Target Practice, I put Venari Marksrat in the third position so that it would take the attacks from magic and ranged monsters. To abuse that even more, I went with Oshuur Constantia and Adelade Brightwing to get 2 Resurrects. For the second monster to get the martyr buff, I went with Chaos Dragon. I needed a dragon Summoner so I went with Quix. They went with Grandmaster Rathe for the summoner, Imperial Knight as the first tank, and Corsair Bosun as the second. I don't know if they didn't realize the rule set already gave Reach or if that was what they thought was the best option. They also went with Venari Marksrat but only one Resurrect monster. They put Pelacor conjurer next to Marksrat, which is smart. It gets buffed and it's going to be the target of the Snipe attacks after Marksrat. Finally they put Zyriel to give attack to the Conjurer.

In round 1, their Marksrat died once and mine died twice. I also dealt considerable damage to Imperial Knight. Round 2, my Marksrat died for good and my Jared Scar was already pretty buffed. It easily finished their first tank and their Marksrat also died next. Round 3, my buffed-up Chaos Dragon hit Conurer and died to the Magic Reflect. My Oshuur Constantia also died this round. In Round 4 the Jared Scar show began. It killed their tank in this round and in the next, it had enough power to on-shot a 10 health plus 2 armor Conjurer. They only had 2 monsters left, after this, and the first one was ranged. Their Adelade killed mine but Jare Scar took care of everything.
