Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - my favorite Conclave Arcana Neutral cards

Hello everyone! Today I'm gonna talk about the cards in Conclave Arcana that I like the most, this time it's neutral cards. I already made posts for Fire, Water, Earth, Life, and Death. Neutral has some very spicy units in Conclave Arcana!

Halfshell Seer

This is a very simple unit with just one ability: Reckless. Since this ability is usually a downside, its stats are pretty nice. 5 ranged attack, 4 speed, 2 armor, and 6 HP for 4 mana is pretty good! It gets even better if you're able to make good use of Reckless with Painforge units. However, I end up using it most often in the Back to Basics rule set. When abilities don't exist, units with great stats for their mana cost are the best options.

Taye Loreswift

Splinterlands' favorite singer is also a pretty strong unit! 3 mana for a 3 attack melee unit with 3 speed, 1 armor, 4 HP, Reach, Inspire, Snare, and Piercing makes for an extremely powerful package! I feel like it would be very playable if it had 1 more attack and no Inspire. Inspire buffs itself and all your other melee units! Especially as a neutral card, I often find a spot for Taye.

Bellowmancer

One of the best Taunt units in the game, and it is a neutral, so all Archons can use it! It's great against physical attacks, but it also deals with magic attacks decently well because of Void Armor. There are certainly other Taunt units that are more specialized for some situations but this is usually a safe one to use.

Ferrous Brewer

I think I still haven't quite learned when to use this unit. Sometimes it works out great, other times it doesn't do much. I do like that this is another neutral melee unit that can attack from anywhere because it makes Taye get even more value. The best thing about the Brewer is the combination of Relentless Strike and True Strike. Still, even with the True Strike, it works better in Reverse Speed because it gets to attack first.

Bren Palesworn

I expected to use Bren much more than I do, because I envisioned all the rule sets where melee units can attack from anywhere, and I'd get a lot of value from Bren surrounded by two non-attackers. That doesn't come up that often. I've tried it and lost anyway. do like it in Ulund teams since it gets the Bloodline Tribute bonus and becomes a much bigger threat. On top of that, I firmly believe all of the Shapeshifters will become even better once the legendary airdrop Archons start getting released.

Arcane Skinwalker

Shapeshift is great, and it makes this a must in Ulund teams. However, Skinwalker is so much more than that. Inspire and Silence end up being relevant quite often. It didn't have the impact in the game that Grimbardun Smith did when it was released, but that's a good thing because it means it's a good card, but it's a lot more balanced. And, since it's a Shapeshifter, it can only get better!

Gramel the Hunger

Again, it doesn't look as threatening as Mantaroth, but it is quite powerful in a unique way. It's the only unit (so far) with all three attack types. I love using it with Lorkus for the double buff and multiple Life Leech and Affliction effects per round. However, Cryptic might be an even better partner for Gramel. Getting three shots of Poison and Expose per round, which can hit multiple different targets, can be game-breaking. And there's the Shapeshift.

Now there's only Dragon left for me to do, which I will try to write next week. Thank you for reading!
