Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Never bring a Tofu to a Jacek battle
Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked.

I fought an interesting battle in Modern Diamond ranked. I used Conqueror Jacek against Eternal Tofu. It was a chaotic battle with a lot of strong units.

Here's the battle: https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_07a5dddc2460de77c57397e178ac4c1a

This game has the following rule sets: Aimless, Armored Up, and Weak Magic. I built a very fast team with +4 speed and also Blind. I put Arkemis the Bear in front, followed by Sorriel the Bale. I followed it up with Venka the Vile and 3 ranged monsters: Supply Runner, Ash Mirage, and Countess Sinash. This is a fairly standard Jacek strategy that can be used with only Chaos Legion, except for Venka. Sorriel isn't also the most usual choice but the Double Strike, Blind, and Rust enticed me into using it. They put Mantaroth in front, followed by Iziar and Olivia of the Brook. Dumacke Exile and Adelade Brightwing were their next ones and they finished with Commander Goff. Their strategy with Iziar and 2 Resurrects seems more appropriate without the Aimless rule set, however, it didn't matter much, since I used Jacek.

I think they forgot to apply the Tactics, which I'm not gonna complain about! No units were close to dying in round 1. Olivia gained Rust at the start of round 2 and also gained Strengthen after taking a hit from Supply Runner, which was amazing for them as Iziar went from 7 to 8 HP. That allowed it to survive Venka's hit and not get the Trample into Olivia. At the start of round 3, Olivia gained Protect and the board looked like this:

Supply Runner let me down again by missing Adelade, and Venka killed Iziar and Olivia, both of them getting Resurrected. Countless killed Iziar for good and Sorriel did the same to Olivia. She did gain Blind on the first hit but since both went to her, it didn't matter. Their double-buffed Mantaroth was a big threat and killed my Bear. In round 4, I killed Adelade and Sorriel had exact damage to finish their Mantaroth. Dumacke Exile got revenge on Sorriel. Round 5 was a bit scary with Venka putting Dumacke to 3 HP but all of my other units hit Commander Goff instead of the Exile. Since it survived at 1 HP, it was able to kill Venka. However, the game was mine because even if all my units attacked Commander, the Blast would kill the Exile and leave them with just 1 ranged monster in front. It was a very close game and I probably would have lost if they had given Divine Shield to 3 of their guys. Still, I was unlucky with a few misses and with Olivia gaining the ability on a 25% chance, so I believe I could have won with better luck, even if they used the Tactics.

What do you all think about this game? Would you have done anything different? Let me know in the comments! Thank you for reading!!
