Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Weapons Training X Weapons Training
Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today, I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked.

I fought an interesting battle in Modern Diamond ranked. In this battle, my strategy was all about Weapons Training. This is an ability that provides its attack types and power (up to 3) to adjacent units that have no attack. The attack persists even if the Weapons Training unit dies, and it can't be Dispelled. I used 2 Weapons Training units and 2 non-attackers, getting a lot of attacks on my units.

This game had the following rule sets: Melee Mayhem, Silenced Summoners, and Ferocity. It was a 26 mana cap game, and only Dragon wasn't available. Not having Dragon prevented me from using a 3 mana summoner, because Kavor Skarn is the only one I own. I picked Bella Ratajowlski because I wanted to play Life. I placed Haling Refugee in front, followed by Taye Loreswift to pump five of my units, including herself. After that, I had my Weapons Training monstruosity of Nimbledook Explorer, Bren Palesworn, Conclave Artificer, and Moxian Rebel. They opted for Prophet Rosa, spending even more mana than I for the summoner. Daigendark Surveyor was their first one, followed by Halfling Refugee and Pirate of Eight. Next were Shock Trooper and Taye Loreswift. They finished with Venka the Vile.

Round 1
Venka and Shock Trooper quickly took out my Refugee. On the bright side, Venka wasn't the one getting the kill, which saved me from the Trample. However, my Taye Loreswift was also taken out before any of my units could attack. My Conclave Artificer had all three attack types, and it attacked the Daigendark Surveyor for 5 damage, missing the ranged attack. The Rebel dealt 2 more damage, Bren put Venka at 1 HP, and Nimbledook Explorer missed both the Armored Strike and the regular melee attack, so I was unable to get a single kill this round.

Round 2
As the round started and the Electrified applied, Venka was eliminated, which was their biggest threat. Still, they had enough to take out my Nimbledook Explorer. Fortunately, their Refugee got Exhausted, otherwise it would have killed my Bren. The Conclave finished the Surveyor and dealt significant damage to the Refugee, which My Rebel finished. Bren attacked the Pirate down to 2 HP.

Round 3
Electrified didn't kill any of their units, this time. Shock Trooper took out Bren, but they were unable to kill anything else. Meanwhile, my team eliminated the Pirate and SHock Trooper.

Round 4
With only Taye left on their side and just at 1 HP, it only took one of my magic attacks to finish the game.

My team had a lot of damage potential with Taye's Inspire and all types of attacks on my team, consisting of melee, ranged, magic, and armored strike. I also had Inspire, which I didn't even get to use! Their extra speed and raw firepower, especially from Venka, allowed them to start the game with the upper hand. I had a few misses that could have been costly. My luck turned around when Exhaust got triggered on their Refugee. Shock Trooper dealt a lot of damage and increased the speed of their team, but Electrified was very costly. If Venka had lived just one extra round, I don't think I could have won the game.

What do you all think about this game? Would you have done anything different? Let me know in the comments! Thank you for reading!!
