Why Are We Here?
I throw lights at people who need to lighten up
I shine brighter for people that needs to brighten up
I give a shove or a gentle nudge for those who need to brace up
Why are we here if not to make life better for one another?
There would always be those who want to throw discord just to put asunder
They focus on what you are not doing right as they are fixated on your blunder
To make you feel less, they roared like the thunder
Forgetting that we are all capable of seeing the worse in life or the wonders
We are here to make life easier for others even if sometimes we don't find it easy
We leave a trail of our goodness in everyone as we grow and go through life
It's hard to control the actions of others even when you are good to them
It's hard to make anyone see reasons they don't want to see
Leave the path of trying to make everyone see what you want them to
Stop trying too hard because your message would get lost in the end
Focus on yourself and what you need to do and are doing
Most people learn faster by observation rather than by instructions
Most of the times we want to do too much and we cause more harm than good. We are so focused on helping that we go all out and hard trying to make others see our reasons rather than just modelling it first. We are here to help one another but it doesn't mean everyone would accept it. Do the things you can and stop trying to do too much just to impress.

This is true, we should be a light in someone's darkness and choose to be kind even if people do not reciprocate our kindness. The Universe sees and will repay us.
The truth is, they often take the kindness for granted and as you have said, we don't have to stop being kind as a result of that. We should do what we have to do.
Do what we have to do. I love that because most of the time it's not just about them but about us... It's about not altering our nature or who we are.
Most people won't reciprocate it because an average human has been wired to only receive and not give. We should be kind whatever the situation. Thanks for this.
Throw lamps or lights at those who need to lighten up haha. That's right. We need to be the shoulder for those who need it. Some might not admit they needed help and as you have said, we should focus on what we need to do regardless.
Most people with pride and ego won't admit they need help but still, we can't force help on those who turn it down and because others turn it down doesn't mean everyone would... So we just have to throw kindness around like confetti.
I think we shouldn't add more salt to injury but rather play a role of being a light in the dark tunnel of another.
Most people enjoy rubbing it in and adding more insult to injury for others. If you can't make someone better at least don't make them worse than you met them.

Those who genuinely want to help won't claim to have done so. because all help is offered in a heart-felt manner.
People will undoubtedly cause ripples and cross if the topic of help is brought up in conversation and they consistently felt that they have help too much.
Everything that I receive is a gift from Him, in my opinion. All the happiness and difficulties belong to the one who is entitled to receive them.
We would reach a moment that is so challenging, but mostly people prefer to whine. The unquestionably whine and point the finger at God. However, when they are happy and in a good shape and partying, they stop remembering God.
As a result, never stop being grateful because He is the source of all of our help and challenges. I know my viewpoint may not be shared by everyone. They might said, hard work comes from ourselves and nothing to do with God.
Sooner or later, when they were in trouble and down, they would kneel and ask God, "Why me?"I've learned to be grateful for those who have helped me in real life and even on social media.
I got help from other sources, and it made me who I am today. One thing is for sure: I know they would never claim that they had helped me because they sincerely helped me.
I can never dissuade the God factor. So, I can relate to what you are saying. The Bible says "What do you have that you have not received? If you have received it, why boast as though you hadn't?".
Yes, hardwork pays but God makes it tick and the efforts to be worth it. I am grateful to God for everything too.

Hmmm...Insightful words, poet. We are here to help people, even as we also get helped along the way. Some people don't get to care about this though, but we just have to do our best and leave them, hoping they change later on.
Most people don't care, no doubt. They are too focused on what they can get and forget to know we are all here to help one another get through life.

Do good and it doesn't matter who...we should just do it anyway. True help has no class barrier. We should watch out for ourselves too because we can't give out when we are empty.

wise word brother. That's just the bitter fact we all need to know about people because not everyone is of the same personality and we all see things differently. Most people won't even recognize the extent of the help we have rendered and how much it cost us to do it. We should not stop being good.

my suggestion would be it needs a closing couplet or two so there is an impetus for the reader, give them an action to head towards, and not just some reflections to muse on.
