Painful Regret

Janet seems to be a very attractive and beautiful lady who is a very intelligent and hard-working person. However, she was unable to secure a job on time. She decided to assist her mother in her job, depending on when she will secure a job. She has entrepreneurial skills and also knows how to approach customers appropriately. Most of her mother's customers like her a lot due to her friendly character.

One day, one of her mother's famous customers stopped by to get something from their shop. He then asked her if she would like to work for his company. She replied with an astonishing look because she wasn't expecting that. The man asked her about her field of study because it was a vacant position in the company. The man observed that she was a good girl and that she could easily relate so nicely to customers.

The man gave her an appointment to come the next day to the company for an interview. This gladdens her so much, but she was contemplating whether her mom would permit her to go for the interview.

The following day, she woke up so early that she could beat up the traffic to get to the company before the interview time. When she got there, she called the man directly, and he asked her to wait for him at the receptionist's office. It didn't take up to thirty minutes when she received a call that the director would like to interview her.

However, she was frightened because she did not know the position that would be given to her. Getting to the director's office, I smiled at her and she said.

“I’ve heard a lot about you, but can you work with us?”

She replied, "Yes.”

She was given the job that very day, with a fatty income every month.

Not only that, but she resumes work the following week, her tasks mostly to attend to customers, then convince them about the company's products, the effectiveness, and quality the goods have for humankind, and also the rate of satisfaction the goods will render to the customer in need of them.

Janet found the position so interesting that she ensured she attended to every customer with joy in her heart. Most of the customers seemed to like the product through her persuading words that said.

"You will also come for more because this is nothing but the best product you can trust.”

The company seems to have more customers through Janet's approach to the customer, and the customers are always ready to buy more of the product. She became the customer’s favorite.

Then one day, after a long day at work, Mr. Chibuzor, who was her manager in the department, noticed that she was tired and had a stressful look, walked to her, and asked her, “Would you like a ride home?” She said yes, sir. I will be glad for that, sir.

After the day's work, Mr. Chibuzor decided to take her home. After getting to a certain point in the road, there was heavy traffic that lasted for two hours. Janet was tired, worried, and anxious because she didn't know what state her mother could be in; her phone was down. Her manager observed it and asked, “Are there any problems?”

She replied, Yes, my phone is down, and I know my mom will be worried right now.

Can I lend you my phone to make a call to her? She replied yes, sir.

I will be so glad to have it, sir.

She made the call, but she got home so late that very day.

The following day, her manager came over to her and asked her to have dinner with him.

Mr. Chibuzor seems to love her so much that he is willing to have a relationship with her. Moreover, she likes him too, but she would rather not meet him at first so that it wouldn't somehow look like it.

They both had a nice time together during dinner time. From there, they seem to be close friends, which results in a relationship.

But one day, he observed something in her and then asked her.

I've given birth before; do you have a child? Then she replied no.

I ask her because I don't plan to marry someone who has had children before.

Please don't sell a dog to me.

She was surprised when she heard that statement, and I said no, I'm still single.

But within her, she didn't want to lose him.

However, she has a child, which was a mistake of her past when she was a teenager. She was hoping that the manager would not know about it.

One faithful day, he decided to visit her. The first person who came to greet him was Annabel, who was Janet's daughter, looking much like her mother.

Hello sir, Who are you looking for? I'm looking for Miss Janet.

“Oh! that's my mom."

He was amazed, your mom!

That's good. Could you please go and call her for me?

When Janet saw Mr. Chibuzor,

She was surprised, stumbling, not knowing what to say.

He didn't say a word but dragged her and said, Who is that little princess that came to attend to me now?

My daughter!

I'm so sorry, please. I love you a lot. Likewise, I just have to sell a dog to you because you are precious to me.*

Likewise, I don't want to lose you.

You don't want to lose me!!!

Will you come off it?

Currently, you've already lost me; I have nothing to do with you any longer.

That was how Janet lost Mr. Chibuzor; it was painful, and it took some months before she could get rid of him in her heart.
