Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: My Battlefield Breakthroughs
Dear Splinterlands Grammar, How are you all? Today I will share a battle victory I won in the Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge. How did I do it, how did I organize the team, and many more tips, so today's post will be especially useful for beginners.
Since the new frontier format has come to the game, the frontier and modern formats work more for beginners. Also, anyone can play in this format. Since I play in modern, and today's winning battle is also in modern format. Also, those who want to participate in the Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge competition, see the official post of Splinterlands splinterlands community engagement challenge post link

First of all, before arranging the team in battle, one thing to keep in mind is what are the rules given in battle. Although it is always different, in a word, whatever the rules are in battle, it is more important to arrange the team according to that or strategically.
Counterspell rule
Counterspell The ruleset states that
All units have Magic Reflect (returns 50% of the attacker's magic damage, in whole numbers).
The attacker's magic attack can deal damage to any card, but it will immediately return 50% of that damage. For this, your team will need to be equipped with a magic attack.

First, the mana cost in the battle is looked at, for example, up to 42 mana can be taken in this battle and the team must be formed within these 42 mana. With 6 units and a summoner, I formed a team with strong death elements but also kept a fire unit.

I won the battle easily except for one unit dying. I won this battle easily by putting together a great team. All the cards or units I chose in this battle are discussed below.

RAZI CLANKTARP
I always try to keep this card in my favorite cards in battle because this summoner is quite powerful. If we look at its power:
Close range
All friendly units gain close range abilities at the start of battle.
Can use ranged attacks from the first position.Bloodline Dominion
Units that share a bloodline with this Archon can be summoned from any element and gain linked abilities.
Units that share a bloodline with this Archon can be summoned from any element and gain linked abilities.
Close melee attacks are great for combat, as I have melee attacks on my units. Also, they can bring in linked abilities from any unit, which is great.
Cavwise Wayfinder
It is placed in the first position so that 2 melee attacks in the first position damage the enemy units very quickly. In addition, there are 4 armor and 7 health and 3 speed which are used as support or to keep the card alive.
And I summoned this card in the first position from the fire unit. The card costs only 6 mana and helps to organize the team. In addition, it has the following powers:
Reckless
Each successful attack deals 1 true damage to adjacent allied units.
Ambush
Takes an extra turn before the first round of combat.
Thraghun
I have kept this unit in the first position so that if it dies for any reason, it will sustain the team. Because the attack has 2 melee attacks and 1 ranged attack which is quite powerful. In addition, it has 5 armor as support which will attack the armor first and then the health. In addition, it has 5 health as well as 2 speed which makes the card quite strong and will survive a long time in battle.
In addition, it has 2 abilities which are quite good. Although the mana cost is 9, I still keep it in the battle at a cost of 40 mana.
Reach
Can use melee attacks from the second position.
Cripple
-1 to the target's maximum health after each successful attack. Does not affect units with immunity.
Black Widow
This card is placed in the 3rd position because it has 2 ranged attacks. In addition, it has 1 armor as support but 5 health which can be called support. However, it works well because ranged attacks can attack from any position which is quite good.
However, the mana cost of the card is 8 which is a bit high but the reason for keeping it is because I always kept ranged attacks in the 4th position again. However, the card has no power. However, the card worked quite well in battle.
Meriput Slinger
I like this card in position 4 because it has 3 ranged attacks that can attack the opponent's units. In the first and second positions, along with melee attacks, 3 ranged attacks do a lot of damage. In addition, it has 4 health and 3 speed that can attack very quickly.
It also has 1 ability that is quite good, which is discussed below.
Impedance
After each successful attack, the target's speed is -1.
If the attack is successful, the opponent's unit will lose 1- or 1 health, which is quite good. Many times, this 1 health loss can be used to win.
Fenmur's Roar
This unit has a total of 2 magical attacks which are quite powerful and can attack from any position. However, it has no power. But as a support it has 4 health and 1 speed which is good but not that much.Since it can be placed in 5 positions for a cost of 5 mana, it is good.
Brigand Brigand
This unit is placed in position 6, but there are several things, such as it has 1 range attack, but if you look at it as support, it has 1 armor and 2 health, as well as 1 speed. Which goes in battle.
However, it has the ability to snipe, which is quite good. In the rules of war or team formation, almost everyone puts melee attacks in the first and second positions, 3-4 positions range or magic attacks, especially in positions 5-6. However, after the first position, except for melee attacks, it hits first.
This shows that if the first position dies, and from position 6, except for melee attacks, it hits the second position and the opponent unit dies, then it can easily win the battle. And we all know that range cannot attack the first position from the first position. For this, it can easily win the battle. The ability is snipe.
Snipe
Magical and ranged attacks target the first non-melee enemy unit behind the first position.
