I honestly didn't play LoL very much, so I didn't even recognize that the characters were the same. They absolutely need to change that, yeah, and there's a ton of time before release. It's a little concerning though they are using it for promos. I obviously recognized it as a clone, but I didn't realize how identical it was until someone showed me. So I won't go through with my private bid until that's changed.
Yes, that was my first concern. The LoL champion Yasuo is one of the most famous and it has been just copied, I bet that even character mechanics is the same. I have the same concerns about a game that will "re-launch" (copy) the gameboy version of Pokemon, the name is Block Monsters. It seems like a nice project, but Nintendo probably won't let it pass.
