Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! - Equalizer

Hello Family and Guild Mate

main battle mage.png

For this week the weekly challenge equalizer. Equalizer are all units that start with the same health, based on the highest health on either team. When this ruleset applies to me, my usual plan is to use low-life monsters that fit within the equalizer ruleset. Because all life points are equal in the battlefield, except when the opponent uses buffs or debuffs. For me, it's better to use low-life monsters because some of them have strong offensive capabilities in battles. For example, the soulbound card Dumacke Orc only has 1 life, but it has the ability to retaliate and shield effectively, making it a strong position for a tank. There are many other single-life creatures that are very effective in battle, or some with 2 or 3 lives but have high damage.

For high mana cost, it's good to use Djinn Inferni of the fire element in this ruleset. He has 3 to 4 life, along with 4 speed and 3 to 4 damage, which are great for battles. Another monster that's good to use in high mana is Kain Hace of the death element, with 3 to 5 magic damage and the ability of blast and reflection shield. Kain Hace's blast ability is one of the best to use.

BATTLE CONDITION

42 mana cap, the available elements can you use is water only. The ruleset is what doesn't kill you, heavy hitters, and, equalizer.

TEAM COMPOSITION

I chose Possibilus The Wise as my summoner for this battle to enable my monsters to attack in the second position. Aside from the reachability, he also provides +2 life for all units and trample ability. For the tank or front position, I selected Dumacke Orc, a melee attacker with a shield ability. Because of the equalizer ability, he gains additional life depending on which monster has the highest life. For the 2nd position monster, I placed Noa The Just, a monster without attacking capabilities but with rust ability. The rust ability removes +1 armor from the opponent. In the 3rd position, I placed Kulu Mastermind, a melee attacker with weapons training, shield, and opportunity abilities. The weapon training provides attack ability to Noa The Just and Merdaali Guardian. In the fourth position, I placed Merdaali Guardian, another non-attacking monster with a Tank heal ability. Due to the weapons training of Kulu Mastermind and Merdaali Guardian, they will also have range attack abilities. For the fifth monster, I chose Daarg Deadblast, a magic attacker with swift and weapons training abilities. The last monster is Clockwork Aide, A non-attack monster with swift ability.

KEYNOTES

Because of the equalizer ruleset, Clockwork Aide and Dumacke Orc, who previously had one life each, had their life increased equal to the highest life among the monsters.

I'm fortunate because whenever the opponent hits Dumacke Orc, his retaliation triggers.

Because of Noa The Just's 12 speed, it helped in evading the opponent's physical attacks on him.

BATTLE SUMMARY

In round 1, no one died on either side. At the beginning of round 2, Noa The Just's attack on Diemonshark was the first elimination in the battle. Also in round 2, Flying Squid was eliminated after being attacked by Merdaali Guardian with a magic attack.

In round 5, Noa The Just attacked Deeplurker, and because Deeplurker died and triggered the trample ability from Possibilus The Wise, Noa The Just attacked the opponent's Kulu Mastermind and also eliminated him. Because of this, the battle ended.
