BATTLE SHARE: Captain Katie VS Helmet Kharafax

The battle I'm sharing today is between Captain Katie and Helmet Kharafax from the tournament I joined. Since one of the rulesets is the briar patch where all units have thorns, I thought of using magic and range to avoid thorn damage. I also expect my opponent to use range and magic to avoid thorn damage. Initially, I thought of using Captain Katie, but I changed my mind and used Helmet Kharafax and a weapons training monster to give Helmet Kharafax an attack ability. The advantage I see in Helmet Kharafax is his possession of void and scavenger. The void reduces magic damage, while scavenger adds life whenever monsters die on the battlefield. Let's see who wins between Captain Katie and Helmet Kharafax.

In this battle, I chose Helios Matriarch as my summoner to use gladuis cards and increase the speed of all my monsters. I also used her to make use of dragon cards like Vruz, which costs 2 mana and has the martyr ability that provides additional stats to adjacent monsters. For the first position, I chose Pelacor Conjurer with divine shield, magic reflect, and flying. No attack ability due to Moxian Rebel's weapons training, which will give him a magic attack ability. Pelacor Conjurer's flying ability and speed will help him dodge the opponent's physical attacks. His magic reflect will help bounce back magic attacks. For the second position, I placed Moxian Rebel with magic attack and weapons training ability. Moxian Rebel's weapons training ability will give attack ability to Pelacor Conjurer and Helmet Kharafax. For the third position, I placed Helmet Kharafax, also a monster without attack abilities, with bloodlust, scavenger, and void ability. The void will help reduce magic attack damage, scavenger will increase his life whenever a monster dies on the battlefield, and bloodlust will add stats whenever he kills an opponent. Through Moxian Rebel's weapons training ability, Helmet Kharafax will have a magic attack. For the fourth position, Vruz is a melee attacker with martyr and sneak ability. Through martyr, Helmet Kharafax and Djinn Renova will be given additional stats. I intentionally used Vruz even though he might die immediately from thorns, just to quickly boost Helmet Kharafax and Djinn Renova's stats. For the fifth position, I placed Djinn Renova, a magic attacker with Strengthen ability. The Strengthen ability will provide +1 life to all monsters while Djinn Renova is alive. Lastly, for the last position, Venari Crystalsmith is a ranged attacker with tank heal ability to heal the one in the first position.
