Hello people! Today I'm super excited about this illustration, more than anything I put a lot of effort and desire because @brataka and I decided to make the same character, for me this is very cool because I admire him a lot and I know that my artistic level is not like his, even so I encouraged me to this, I practically took it as a challenge and I think that made me think a lot about what to do and dedicate the necessary time.
As you can see we were encouraged to make Lux Vega, a legendary neutral unit. Without further ado, I share with you the process of my art.

¡¡¡Hola gente!!! Hoy estoy super emocionada con esta ilustración, más que nada le puse mucho empeño y ganas porque @brataka y yo decidimos hacer el mismo personaje, para mí esto es muy chévere porque lo admiro mucho y sé que mi nivel artístico no es como el de él, aun así me animé a esto, prácticamente lo tomé como un reto y creo que eso me hizo pensar mucho en qué hacer y dedicarle el tiempo necesario.
Como pueden ver nos animamos a hacer Lux Vega, una unidad legendaria neutral. Sin más preámbulos les comparto el proceso de mi arte.

Reference

Lux Vega reminds me a lot of two L.O.L characters, the great Jinx and Caitlyn, so I chose these two as my references (in the description I leave the link), and I made a fusion to make my character. I wanted Lux with a quite dynamic pose, usually brataka does this in his illustrations he has a good handling of perspective, something that I still need to learn a lot and although it's quite complicated for me, I wanted to be up to the occasion. I varied the details in it, I was trying an infinite number of things in the sketch, I practically ended up spending half a day on it and even so it wasn't completely finished since there were details to fix that I left to do it when the process was more advanced.

Lux Vega me recuerda mucho a dos personajes de L.O.L, la gran Jinx y Caitlyn, así que elegí a estas dos como mis referencias (en la descripción dejo el link), e hice una fusión para hacer mi personaje. Quería a Lux con una pose bastante dinámica, normalmente brataka hace esto en sus ilustraciones tiene un buen manejo de la perspectiva, algo que aún me falta aprender mucho y aunque es bastante complicado para mi, quise estar a la altura de las circunstancias. Varié los detalles en él, estuve probando infinidad de cosas en el boceto, prácticamente acabé dedicándole medio día y aun así no quedó del todo terminado ya que había detalles que arreglar que dejé para hacerlo cuando el proceso estuviera más avanzado.

I started painting the outfit, as you can see I changed a little bit of it and because of so many details and accessories I decided to start at this point, I advanced a lot, but I started painting her extremities and face a little bit later. I was doing some minor details to make better finishes later.

Comencé pintando la vestimenta, como pueden ver cambié un poco de ella y debido a tantos detalles y accesorios decidí comenzar en este punto, adelanté mucho, pero comencé a pintar sus extremidades y rostro un poco más tarde. Estuve haciendo algunos detalles menores para luego hacer mejores acabados.

In the face I tried to soften the runes or mask, since it was quite beautiful and I didn't want this mark to add weight or not to be seen as I wanted. For that effect of brightness I placed in a layer with fusion overlay a gradient of blue and purple tones, and then I erased in some areas.

En el rostro intenté suavizar las runas o máscara, ya que era bastante bonito y no quería que esta marca añadiera carga o no se viera como yo quería. Para ese efecto de brillo coloqué en una capa con superposición de fusión un degradado de tonos azules y morados, y luego borré en algunas zonas.

Something that I wanted to have a lot of perspective were the braids of his hair, so I left them for almost the end, both in sketch and in painting and details, to be able to dedicate the time I needed.

Algo que quería que tuviera bastante perspectiva eran las trenzas de su cabello, así que las dejé para casi el final, tanto en boceto como en pintura y detalles, para poder dedicarle el tiempo que necesitaba.

Before continuing I changed the size of the canvas and with that objective I made the sketch of the background, I was thinking about it many times because I had different ideas for it, but something that was clear was that I wanted something of nature, I chose to make a kind of natural tunnel where at the end of it was illuminated as if there was a portal, I also added some cards at different angles and just on the ground where the cane touches I did as if it was broken and some of its magic came out. All this theme was what I came up with when I read Lux's lore.

Antes de continuar cambié el tamaño del lienzo y con ese objetivo hice el boceto del fondo, estuve pensándolo muchas veces porque tenía diferentes ideas para él, pero algo que estaba claro es que quería algo de naturaleza, opté por hacer una especie de túnel natural donde al final del mismo se iluminara como si hubiera un portal, también añadí algunas tarjetas en diferentes ángulos y justo en el suelo donde toca el bastón hice como si estuviera roto y saliera algo de su magia. Todo este tema fue lo que se me ocurrió al leer el lore de Lux.

This was the whole process, it took me two and a half days of work, it was worth it because I was pleased with the result, I know I'm on the right track. I hope you like it, see you next time.

Este fue todo el proceso, me llevó dos días y medio de trabajo, valió la pena porque quedé contenta con el resultado, sé que voy por buen camino. Espero que les guste, hasta la próxima.
