Welcome back to one of my art posts, today I bring you my participation to the splinterlands contest this week I had chosen another character, but I've been feeling too sick with the flu to give the details I want in that illustration, so I decided to leave it for another time and I made this portrait of River Nymph, without further ado I'll share with you the process.

Bienvenidos de nuevo a uno de mis posts de arte, hoy les traigo mi participación al concurso de splinterlands esta semana había elegido otro personaje, pero me he estado sintiendo muy mal con la gripe como para dar los detalles que quiero en esa ilustración, así que decidí dejarlo para otro momento e hice este retrato de River Nymph, sin más preámbulos les comparto el proceso.

PROCESS - PROCESO

In spite of everything I put all my love to this portrait, I started doing it in grayscales, since I'm managing this technique quite well lately, so this way I was doing her face and part of her clothes.

A pesar de todo le puse todo mi cariño a este retrato, empecé a hacerlo en escalas de grises, ya que últimamente me manejo bastante bien con esta técnica, así que de esta forma fui haciendo su cara y parte de su ropa.

I decided to remove the hands because they were giving me work, to cover this lack I decided to place some Koi fish that I made a few days ago for another illustration, hehe, I organized them as if they were swimming against the current.

Decidí quitar las manos porque me estaban dando trabajo, para cubrir esta carencia decidí colocar unos peces Koi que hice hace unos días para otra ilustración, jeje, los organicé como si nadaran contracorriente.

After this I started to give color to the face, for this I used a layer with fusion color and another with fusion overlay, I realized that the shadows disappeared a little so I started to add shadows with a purple tone in a layer with fusion multiply.

Después de esto empecé a darle color a la cara, para ello utilicé una capa con fusión de color y otra con fusión de superposición, me di cuenta de que las sombras desaparecían un poco así que empecé a añadir sombras con un tono morado en una capa con fusión de multiplicar.

As always I leave the hair last, since I like to give it its details in Krita.
To finish I changed the Koi fish only to the white ones and gave them some color and shadows, I also added some lighting to the background to make it look as if the River Nymph had just been submerged in the water. This is the end of the process, I hope you like it.

Como siempre dejo el cabello de último, ya que me gusta darle sus detalles en Krita.
Para terminar cambié los peces Koi solo por los blancos y les di algo de color y sombras, también añadí algo de iluminación al fondo para que pareciera que la Ninfa de Río acababa de sumergirse en el agua. Este es el final del proceso, espero que les guste.
