Hello hivers! Welcome back.

I hope you had a nice week. For my participation in splinterlands week 254 I have chosen a fire unit known as Sorriel the Bale, this is from the Reward Soulbound edition and is a legendary unit. I chose this card specifically for its red skin tone, my boyfriend and I are trying to do the Color Wheel Challenge with some of the splinterlands characters, although I'm a little late with this since Braty started last week hehe. Without further ado I'll share the process below.

¡Hola hivers! Bienvenidos de nuevo.

Espero que hayan tenido una buena semana. Para mi participación en la semana 254 de splinterlands he elegido una unidad de fuego conocida como Sorriel the Bale, esta es de la edición Reward Soulbound y es una unidad legendaria. Elegí esta carta específicamente por su tono de piel rojo, mi novio y yo estamos tratando de hacer el Reto de la Color Wheel con algunos de los personajes de splinterlands, aunque voy un poco tarde con esto ya que Braty empezó la semana pasada jeje. Sin más preámbulos les comparto el proceso a continuación.

I started making the sketch, making the male body is becoming a little less complicated than before, even so there are details that with practice I hope to fix, after this I proceed to place the base colors.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, hacer el cuerpo masculino se está volviendo un poco menos complicado que antes, aun así hay detalles que con la práctica espero arreglar, después de esto procedo a colocar los colores base.

Making the skin with tones that I'm not used to is a challenge for me, although with practice I think I've improved in making the skin in reddish color or at least I found it easier this time hehe.

Hacer la piel con tonos a los que no estoy acostumbrada es todo un reto para mi, aunque con la práctica creo que he mejorado en hacer la piel en color rojizo o al menos me ha resultado mas facil en esta ocasión jeje.

For the hair I wanted it to look like fire, I was using reddish orange tones, but in the end I couldn't stand to put yellow tones. So I couldn't keep my palette so monochromatic for the challenge. What predominates in this character are his flames, so for the background and the rest of the illustration I added that fire effect, with different brushes of textures and smoke effects, with layers of blend, add glow, weft and overlay. I hope you like it, see you next time.

Para el cabello quería que pareciera fuego, estuve usando tonos naranja rojizo, pero al final no aguanté poner tonos amarillos. Así que no pude mantener mi paleta tan monocromática para el reto. Lo que predomina en este personaje son sus llamas, así que para el fondo y el resto de la ilustración añadí ese efecto de fuego, con diversos pinceles de texturas y efectos de humo, con capas de fusion añadir brillo, trama y superponer. Espero que les guste, hasta la próxima.
