Hello beautiful people! I hope you are all super well and if you are not, you will be soon! Today I bring you a new drawing that I made on a Friday afternoon. It's a reference I took from Pinterest and I really liked it.

Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! El día de hoy les traigo un nuevo dibujo que hice un viernes por la tarde. Es una referencia que tome de Pinterest y la verdad me gusto mucho.

I liked the photo to draw it and to see how it would look when I drew it in my style of drawing and paint on it with watercolors. The truth is, it was a very pleasant afternoon drawing and painting, just listening to music and relaxing. I love afternoons like these, because sometimes I have days where I suffer with everything I have to do in my day to day and having such calm days fills me with so much happiness, like everyone else.

La foto me gusto para dibujarla y para ver como quedaría al dibujarla en mi estilo de dibujo y pintar en el mismo con acuarelas. La verdad, una tarde muy amena dibujando y pintando, solo escuchando música relajado y sin más. Tardes como estas las amo, ya que a veces tengo unos días en donde sufro con todo lo que tengo que hacer en mi día a día y tener días tan tranquilos me llenan de tanta felicidad, como a todos.

I started making the sketch by looking at the reference photo, for which I had to flip it in my editor, as it did not convince me much as it was originally. I also searched on Pinterest for reference images of animal skulls and looking here and there, I liked one that I didn't even know what animal it was and I used it to make it in my drawing, so that it would give the illusion of a natural helmet for the character.

Comencé haciendo el boceto fijándome en la foto referencia, que para ello tuve que voltear la misma en mi editor, ya que no me convencía mucho como estada originalmente. Busque igualmente en Pinterest imágenes de referencias sobre cráneos de animales y viendo aquí y allá, me gusto uno que ni supe de que animal era y lo use para hacerlo en mi dibujo, para que le hiciera la ilusión de algún casco natural para el personaje.

I made the hair as the boy in the photo and added a butterfly flying, being this the visual focus of the character. Then I started the color work on the drawing and for that I just had to look at the reference photo I was using to base the colors on it. I didn't want to change anything in the color palette that was used in the photo, I just worked it in my style and integrated it as best as I could to my work.

Le hice el cabello de rastras como el muchacho de la foto y agregue una mariposa volando, siendo esta el enfoque visual del personaje. Luego pase a comenzar el trabajo de color en el dibujo y para ello solo tuve que ver la foto referencia que estaba usando para basarme en los colores de la misma. No quise cambiar nada en la paleta de color que se manejaba en la foto, solo la trabaje a mi estilo e integre lo mejor que pude la misma a mi trabajo.

The watercolors I use do not have so much pigment, which is something normal in this material, but there are some that do have a strong pigment and usually you have to be more careful when working with them. This was not the case for this drawing, since as I mentioned, these watercolors have a clear pigment and it makes it much easier for me to work with them, since I add pigment little by little without any problem and I even enjoy it.

Las acuarelas que uso no poseen tanto pigmento, lo cual es algo normal en dicho material, pero hay unas que si tienen un pigmento fuerte y por lo general hay que ser mas cuidadosos al trabajarlas. No fue el caso para este dibujo, ya que como lo mencione, estas acuarelas tienen un pigmento claro y se me facilita mucho a la hora de trabajarlas, ya que voy agregando pigmento poco a poco sin ningún problema y hasta lo disfruto.

I thought it was going to take me much longer to finish this drawing, but it was the opposite. I enjoyed every minute invested in this drawing and I didn't have to do so many final details, because for my perception, it wasn't so necessary.

Creí que me iba a tomar mucho más tiempo en terminar este dibujo, pero fue todo lo contrario. Disfrute cada minuto invertido en este dibujo y no tuve que hacerle tantos detalles finales, porque para mi percepción, no fue tan necesario.
