Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! After a few attempts of trying brushes like crazy in ClipStudioPaint, I decided to take this sketch of QueenMycelia that I had done a while ago, but I hadn't finished it and I started to color it with the brushes, which at the moment, are my favorites in the program and I must tell you one thing, how well this fan art of @Splinterlands has turned out.

Después de unos cuantos intentos de estar probando pinceles como loco en ClipStudioPaint, decidí tomar este boceto de QueenMycelia que había hecho hace un tiempo, pero que no lo había terminado y comencé a darle color con los pinceles, que de momento, son mis favoritos en el programa y debo decirles una cosa, que bien ha quedado este fan art de @Splinterlands.

I had the sketch done in Krita, which is the program I had been using before ClipStudioPaint, so what I did was to move the sketch from Krita to ClipStudioPaint and started to color it. I don't remember the reason why I didn't work or didn't continue with this drawing, since the sketch was really great, so well, here we'll see the color process. But still, I'll share with you parts of the process for the sketch. I really loved the pose in which I did the character and I think it suits him very well, for the whole composition of the character itself.

Tenia el boceto hecho en Krita, que es el programa que había estado usando antes de ClipStudioPaint, así que lo que hice fue pasar el boceto desde Krita a ClipStudioPaint y comencé a darle color. As usual, I took the color palette from the same character and as you know, I personally work my color palettes with pigments not so saturated, I feel that the less vibrant color has a drawing is much better, but that's for my taste, if you draw with super saturated and vibrant color palettes, it's super fine, it's just not my thing.

Como es de costumbre, la paleta de color la tome del mismo personaje y como sabrán, yo en lo personal trabajo mis paletas de color con pigmentos no tan suturados, siento que mientras menos color vibrante tenga un dibujo es mucho mejor, pero eso es por mis gustos, si tu dibujas con paletas de color super saturadas y vibrantes, esta super bien, simplemente no es lo mío.

I made use of four specific brushes, two watercolor brushes and two paint mixers, which I don't really know what artistic material they are, but that's what they are called. One has the name round mixer and the other paint mixer, so well, they were the only brushes I used to do all the color work in this illustration.

Hice uso de cuatro pinceles en especifico, dos de acuarelas y dos mezcladores de pintura, que realmente no se de que material artístico sean, pero así se llaman. Uno tiene el nombre de mezclador redondo y el otro mezclador de pintura, así que bueno, fueron los únicos pinceles que use para hacer todo el trabajo de color en esta ilustración.

I worked all the color and details in an infinite number of layers, since it is much easier to work and correct everything. I added the base color, then I went to add the redness in the skin, which is something I love to do to my drawings and characters. Then I continued with the clothes and other elements. I was working on the line art and shadows, adding also shines in the illustration, all this alternating the brushes, so that I got this wonderful illustration that at the moment I must say that it is my favorite since I'm drawing digital. Of course, I'm still in the process of learning how to make backgrounds, but it's what I hate the most, but I really have to sit down to study and learn how to make them.

Trabaje todo el color y detalles en infinidad de capas, ya que así es mucho mas fácil trabajar y corregir todo. Agregue el color base, luego me fui a agregar las rojeces en la piel, que es algo que amo demasiado hacerles a mi dibujos y personajes. Luego seguí con la ropa y demás elementos. Fui trabajando a su vez el line art y sombras, agregando también brillos en la ilustración, todo esto alternando los pinceles, para que me quedara esta maravillosa ilustración que por los momentos debo decir que es mi favorita desde que estoy dibujando el digital. Eso sí, aun ando en ese proceso de aprender a hacer fondos, pero es lo que más detesto, pero realmente me tengo que sentar a estudiar y aprender a hacerlos.
