Shadow Snitches are created by the conjurers of the Chaos Legion. Weaving Death magic, they breathe life into beings made completely of darkness. The purpose of the Shadow Snitches is to be deployed into lands prior to the Chaos Legion's invasion. Moving from shadow to shadow, they are listeners and watchers, feeding information back to the Chaos Legion.

But once the invasion is complete, the Shadow Snitches still serve a purpose. They can locate and follow high-value targets, reporting back on movements to Chaos Legion leadership. If needed, Shadow Snitches can also capture prisoners and bring them back for interrogation. Link

Las Chivatas de las Sombras son creadas por los conjuradores de la Legión del Caos. Tejiendo magia de la Muerte, insuflan vida a seres hechos completamente de oscuridad. El propósito de los soplones de las sombras es ser desplegados en tierras antes de la invasión de la Legión del Caos. Moviéndose de sombra en sombra, escuchan y vigilan, proporcionando información a la Legión del Caos.

Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! One more week added to my art contest entries on behalf of @Splinterlands. This time I come to participate with the 🟪🔵 SHADOW SNITCH 🔵🟪 card. Some time ago I had made it in traditional and I didn't like it so much, so I come back to make it again, but now in digital and better than the previous one.

Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Una semana más sumada a mis participaciones del concurso de arte de parte de @Splinterlands. Esta vez vengo a participar con la carta de 🟪🔵 SHADOW SNITCH 🔵🟪. Hace tiempo la había hecho en tradicional y no me gusto tanto, así que vuelvo a hacerla nuevamente, pero ahora en digital y mejor que el anterior.

I started making the sketch, taking into account the original drawing. I wanted to work this drawing in a different way, making it humanized, since the character as such is a kind of amorphous creature, so I played a lot with the elements that make up the illustration and adapted them to my version, leaving this character more human.

Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando en cuenta el dibujo original. Quise trabajar este dibujo en una forma diferente, haciéndolo humanizado, ya que el personaje como tal es una especie de criatura amorfa, así que jugué mucho con los elementos que componen la ilustración y los adapte a mi versión, quedándome este personaje más humano.

After working on the sketch, I went on to perfect the line art, you know that I make two line art, one in gray, which is the one I detail in the dirty sketch and a second line art in black, which would be to further define it and I love the contrast that both generate. After that, I start working on the color.

Luego de haber trabajo en el boceto, pase a perfeccionar el line art, ya saben que hago dos line art, uno en gris, que es el que detallo del boceto sucio y un segundo line art en negro, que seria para definir aun más el mismo y el contraste que ambos generan me encanta. Luego de eso, paso a trabajar el color.

For the color what I always do in these types of works, is to extract in a single layer, the colors that are in the original drawing and thus have the color palette, but to use it at my convenience. I add a base color for the whole drawing and this time I used a green, tending to gray, since I love those types of tones, besides the original drawing has many dark colors, so I think it was a good choice on my part. I continued adding all the other colors for the whole drawing in general. I do this with a marker brush.

Para el color lo que hago siempre en estos tipos de trabajos, es extraer en un capa sola, los colores que están en el dibujo original y así tener la paleta de color, pero para usarla a mi conveniencia. Agrego un color base para todo el dibujo y esta vez use un verde tirando a gris, ya que amo esos tipos de tonos, ademas el dibujo original tiene muchos colores oscuros, así que creo que fue una buena elección de mi parte. Seguí agregando todos los demás colores para todo el dibujo en general. Esto lo hago con un pincel de marcador.

After all that, what I do is to start detailing the whole drawing, using darker tones to the main ones of each area in the drawing and so little by little it will take contrast and definition in terms of color. To do this step, I always do it with watercolor brushes, as they are the ones that best suit my tastes in this step. Finally I add with a paint mixer brush, certain shines and final details in all the drawing, being finally after a few hours, this incredible result. I must mention something to finish this illustration, and it is that I made an effect that I have seen that some artists do in their drawings, is to make a white border all over the illustration, this has always given me the illusion of sticker, I don't know why, but I feel that it looks great on my drawing.

Luego de todo eso, lo que hago es comenzar a detallar todo el dibujo, usando tonos mas oscuros a los principales de cada zona en el dibujo y así poco a poco ira tomando contraste y definición en cuanto al color. Para hacer este paso, siempre lo hago con pinceles de acuarelas, ya que son los que mejor se adaptan a mis gustos en este paso. Finalmente agrego con un pincel mezclador de pintura, ciertos brillos y detalles finales en todo el dibujo, quedando por fin después de unas cuantas horas, este increíble resultado. Debo mencionar algo para darle fin a esta ilustración, y es que le hice un efecto que he visto que algunos artistas hacen en sus dibujos, es hacerle un borde blanco por toda la ilustración, esto siempre me ha dado la ilusión de sticker, no sé por qué, pero siento que le quedo super bien a mi dibujo.
