These jungle vines look harmless enough at a distance, but with a closer look you will notice tiny toothed mouths all over the surface of the plant. Going around @Splinterlands official website, to be more precise, in the cards section, I found this character, which I thought was a little weird or peculiar, but when I went to the description of it and detailed it better, I realized the composition of the illustration. It really is a #fanart that I enjoyed doing and I think that lately I'm in the mode of using blood in my drawings, giving it that dark and bloody touch.

Rondando la pagina oficial de @Splinterlands, para ser más preciso, en la sección de cartas, me encontré con este personaje, que el cual se me hizo un poco raro o peculiar, pero cuando entre a la descripción del mismo y lo detalle mejor, me di cuenta de la composición de la ilustración. Realmente es un #fanart que disfrute hacer y creo que últimamente ando en modo usar sangre en mis dibujos, dándole ese toque tenebroso y sangriento.

I started making the sketch in my sketchbook. Understanding the original illustration a little bit, which in a few words is a creeper plant, which traps its victims, until it leaves them lifeless, I based on what was seen at a glance to make a character. Taking the original character as a reference, I integrated what is basically seen in the illustration into a character. That is to say; I took the creeper plant and the hand, merging both elements into a single character.

Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi cuaderno de dibujos. Comprendiendo la ilustración original un poco, que en pocas palabras es un planta enredadera, la cual atrapa a sus victimas, hasta dejarla sin vida, me base en lo que se veía a simple vista para hacer un personaje. Tomando como referencia el personaje original, integre lo que básicamente se ve en la ilustración en un personaje. Es decir; tome la planta enredadera y la mano, fusionando ambos elementos en un solo personaje.

A character emerged that is like a kind of plant or snake with the head of a hand, very bloody, since with its spikes or thorns around its body, it tears its victims apart. In addition, with the help of the dagger or razor that it has in its tail, it is much easier to dismember anything that is put in front of it.

Surgió un personaje que es como una especie de planta o serpiente con cabeza de mano, muy sangrienta, ya que con sus púas o espinas alrededor de su cuerpo, desgarra a sus victimas. Ademas, con ayuda de la daga o navaja que posee en su cola, es mucho más fácil desmembrar a cualquier cosas que se le ponga enfrente.

It really is a dark and very bloody character, I don't think I've seen a character like that in @Splinterlands yet, and if there is one, let me know in the comments. The color palette I used is basically warm, colors like brown and red are the ones I used as a whole. At the end I helped myself a little by doing some lineart to give a little definition and contrast to the drawing, it wasn't necessary, but I wanted to do it. I added white details to make the blood shines and that's it, that would be all.

Realmente es un personaje oscuro y muy sangriento, creo que no he visto aún un personaje así en @Splinterlands, y si hay uno, pues déjenmelo en los comentarios. La paleta de color que use, básicamente es cálida, colores como marrón y rojo son los que use en su totalidad. Al final me ayude un poco haciéndole linear para darle un poco de definición y contraste al dibujo, no era necesario, pero lo quise hacer. Le agregue detalles en blanco para hacer los brillos de la sangre y listo, eso seria todo.
