Taking a stroll through the #spt cards, I came across the illustration of Flame Imp and found the character interesting, so I saved the illustration and got to making my version to share in this week's #SocialMediaChallange.

Dando un paseo por las cartas de #spt, me encontré con la ilustración de Flame Imp y me pareció interesante el personaje, así que guardé la ilustración y me puse a hacer mi versión para compartirla en el #SocialMediaChallange de esta semana.

I started making the sketch and for this I took the original illustration as a reference, so I could look very well at the physical appearance of the character and make a good composition of my drawing. I had many ideas for this drawing, but I felt that they were ideas that were going to overload the illustration, so I discarded them completely and decided to go for something less "invasive", leaving me with a very good sketch to tell the truth.

Comencé haciendo el boceto y para ello tomé como referencia la ilustración original, así pude fijarme muy bien en el aspecto físico del personaje y hacer una buena composición de mi dibujo. Tenía muchas ideas para este dibujo, pero sentía que eran ideas que iban a sobrecargar la ilustración, así que las descarté por completo y decidí ir por algo menos "invasivo", quedándome con un muy buen boceto a decir verdad.

Then I continued working with the color, once I was done with the sketch. You know that the color palettes in my drawings for #spt I choose them depending on the original illustration, so for this drawing, I just took as a reference the colors that the character had, which was mostly red, so that's how I worked on my illustration, in red tones.

Luego seguí trabajando con el color, una vez que terminé con el boceto. Ya saben que las paletas de colores en mis dibujos para #spt las elijo dependiendo de la ilustración original, así que para este dibujo, sólo tomé como referencia los colores que tenía el personaje, que era mayoritariamente rojo, así que así trabajé en mi ilustración, en tonos rojos.

To finish with the drawing, I made all the final details such as the line, some shadows, details in the skin and finally the glows, leaving me a very good drawing. I liked the combination I used with the shades of red, the character doesn't look so saturated when it comes to that color, since I used a minimum variety of shades of red for him.

Para terminar con el dibujo, pasé a realizar todos los detalles finales como el linear, algunas sombras, detalles en la piel y por último los brillos, quedándome un dibujo muy bueno. Me gustó la combinación que utilicé con los tonos de rojo, el personaje no se ve tan saturado cuando se trata de ese color, ya que utilicé una mínima variedad de tonos de rojo para él.
