As charming as fungus flingers look, they are incredibly deadly if provoked. They are often found among the leaf litter and rotting vegetation in wetlands and forests, feeding upon the dead or decaying matter. They usually shy away from visitors, but if their colonies are threatened, they will attack, and the outcome tends to be most unpleasant. Link

Suelen encontrarse entre la hojarasca y la vegetación en descomposición de humedales y bosques, alimentándose de materia muerta o en descomposición. Hello HiveBlog people! I hope you're all doing great. I bring you a new drawing inspired by @Splinterlands game cards. Fungus Flinger was the card I chose this time, a character that I thought was super cute and I think it would look good in my style.

Hola gente de HiveBlog! Espero estén super bien todos. Les traigo un nuevo dibujo inspirado en las cartas del juego de @Splinterlands. Fungus Flinger fue la carta que escogí en esta ocasión, un personaje que me pareció super lindo y creo que quedaría bien a mi estilo.

I started making the sketch and decided that this drawing was going to be only of the face, since it had been a few weeks since I had done a drawing of a face again. I loved this drawing because it was inspired by mushrooms and you know that I love everything related to nature.

Comencé haciendo el boceto y decidí que este dibujo lo iba a hacer solo del rostro, ya que tenia unas semanas que no hacia de nuevo un dibujo de rostro. Esté dibujo me encanto, ya que esta inspirado en hongos y ustedes saben que yo amo todo lo relacionado a la naturaleza.

After having the sketch done, which really didn't take me much time to finish it, what I did next was the color work and for that I looked at the color palette of the original illustration, so I could have a reference and work the color in my drawing. The truth is that this was a very simple color palette, besides I didn't need to work a lot on the color in order not to deviate from the original drawing, so I worked it very simple and with a lot of linearity.

Luego de tener el boceto hecho, que la verdad no me tomo mucho tiempo en terminarlo, lo que hice después fue el trabajo de color y para ello me fije en la paleta de color de la ilustración original, para así tener una referencia y trabajar el color en mi dibujo. La verdad es que esta fue una paleta de color muy simple, ademas no tuve la necesidad de trabajar mucho el color para no desviarme del dibujo original, así que lo trabaje muy simple y con mucho linear.

Speaking of linear, what I did after I had been painting and working on the color, was the final details, which I mostly focused on linear. I use the linear in all my drawings, but many times it is a simple line work, since I don't like to flood the drawing with a lot of linear, but for this illustration I let myself go and do a more marked and pronounced linear work and the truth is that it turned out very well.

Hablando de linear, lo que hice después de haber estado pintando y trabajando el color, fueron los detalles finales, los cuales y en su mayoría me enfoque en el linear. Yo uso el linear en todos mis dibujos, pero muchas veces es un trabajo de lineas simple, ya que no me gusta inundar el dibujo con mucho linear, pero para esta ilustración me deje llevar y hacer un trabajo de linear mas marcado y pronunciado y la verdad quedo muy bien.
