Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! As you know, I recently acquired my graphics tablet and I'm practicing and testing this new world for me, so to participate in the #socialmedia of @Splinterlands this week, I thought of making a black and white sketch of the card Lunakari Mistress, since I want to gradually loosen my hand in the digital world and what better way than making SPT card sketches to practice.

Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Como ya saben, hace poco adquirí mi tableta gráfica y ando practicando y probando este nuevo mundo para mí, así que para participar en el #socialmedia de @Splinterlands de esta semana, se me ocurrió hacer un boceto en blanco y negro de la carta Lunakari Mistress, ya que quiero ir poco a poco soltando la mano en el mundo digital y que mejor forma que hacer bocetos de cartas de SPT para practicar.

I started making random lines, nothing worked, to gradually form what would become the face of Lunakari. The truth is that I was forming the face little by little, since I didn't know what shape to give to it, I didn't know whether to do it exactly like the original or give it my personal touch, in the end I decided to base it on my style and do it at my convenience.

Comencé haciendo lineas al azar, nada trabajadas, para ir poco a poco formando lo que vendría siendo el rostro de Lunakari. La verdad que fui formando el rostro poco a poco, ya que no sabia que forma darle al mismo, no sabia si hacerlo exactamente como el original o darle mi toque personal, al final decidí basarme en mi estilo y hacerlo a mi conveniencia.

Once I had formed a first drawing with crazy strokes, I made another layer and went to clean the whole drawing, working with a much cleaner and more defined line art. With the selection tool I changed the eyes and the mouth, which in my opinion had been a bit bad.

Una vez que había formado un primer dibujo con trazos alocados, hice otra capa y me fui a limpiar todo el dibujo, trabajando con un line art mucho mas limpio y definido. Con la herramienta de selección fue cambiando los ojos y la boca, que a mi parecer habían quedado un poco mal.

After cleaning up all the mess I had made with the first drawing, I finally got the line art clean and started to detail the whole sketch, playing with shades of gray and black. I didn't want to go to work with a super dark black in the sketch, so I worked with grayish tones, pulling to black and I feel that it turned out well.

Luego de haber estado limpiando todo el desastre que había hecho con el primer dibujo, me quede por fin con el line art limpio y comencé a detallar todo el boceto, jugando con tonos en gris y negro. No quise irme a trabajar un negro super oscuro en el boceto, así que mejor trabaje con tonos grisáceos, tirando a negro y siento que quedo bien.

I was giving details to the sketch, playing with the different tones I was using and trying to form shades and contrast in it, to make it look better and not so flat. The truth is that I loved how this sketch turned out, even though it is not a color drawing, I feel that I have worked very well, to make it stand out in those gray tones. Le fui dando detalles al boceto, jugando con los diferentes tonos que estaba usando y así tratando de formar matices y contraste en el mismo, así hacerlo ver mejor y no tan plano. La verdad que me ha encantado como ha quedado este boceto, a pesar de que no es un dibujo a color, siento que lo he trabajado muy bien, para hacerle destacar en esos tonos en grises.
