Today I come to share with you a drawing I made taking as inspiration the card of Medusa, which is one of her first card in the game, as I remember. So I took it as a reference and did it in my style, stylizing the character in a black and white sketch, since it is a style of drawing that I like to do a lot. Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! El día de hoy les vengo a compartir un dibujo que hice tomando como inspiración la carta de Medusa, la cual es una de sus primeras carta en el juego, según recuerdo yo. Así que la tome como referencia y la hice a mi estilo, estilizando el personaje en un boceto en blanco y negro, ya que es un estilo de dibujo que me gusta mucho hacer. Chicos, recuerden que siempre les dejo enlaces referentes a la carta en gran parte de la publicación, para que entren y conozcan más a fondo la misma.

I decided that to work on this character, I was going to do only the face, since it's what I do best and what I enjoy doing the most. I had already done this character some time ago in traditional and I really liked how it turned out, but this time I wanted to do it again, but in digital and improving many more things from the first attempt I had made. The horns that I added to my version, simply give it that Jesber touch. An illustrator friend of mine asked me why I had left aside the fact that my drawings no longer had or did not have the horns so characteristic of my style? And it's true, I don't do them anymore and I don't know why? visually I love them and I want to start implementing them again in my drawings.

Decidí que para trabajar este personaje, lo iba a hacer solo del rostro, ya que es lo que mejor se me da y disfruto mas hacer. Este personaje lo había hecho ya hace un tiempo en tradicional y la verdad me gusto como quedo, pero esta vez lo quise volver a hacer, pero en digital y mejorando muchas más cosas del primer intento que había hecho. Los cuernos que le agregue a mi versión, sencillamente les dan ese toque de Jesber. Una amiga ilustradora me pregunto por qué había dejado de lado el hecho de que mis dibujos ya no tenían o no les hacia los cuernos tan característicos de mi estilo? Y es verdad, ya no los hago y no se por que? Visualmente me encantan y los quiero comenzar a implementar de nuevo en mis dibujos.

Going back to the drawing, as I had told you before, I worked this stylized sketch only on the face, the original character had things that I didn't really want to do, but at the same time I wanted to draw her, so well, I did only the face and to tell the truth, I loved how it turned out. I worked the line art with an ink brush and added the details in the whole drawing with a watercolor brush and a marker brush. I spent a long time working on the line art, since I wanted to leave a good work of it before continuing with the details in gray and black.

Retomando nuevamente el dibujo, como les había dicho anteriormente, trabaje este boceto estilizado solo en el rostro, el personaje original tenia cosas que no quería hacer la verdad, pero que a la vez tenia ganas de dibujarla, así que bueno, hice solo el rostro y a decir verdad, me encanto demasiado como quedo. Trabaje el line art con un pincel de tinta y fui agregando los detalles en todo el dibujo con un pincel de acuarela y uno de marcador. Pase un buen rato trabajando el line art, ya que quería dejar un buen trabajo del mismo antes de seguir con los detalles en gris y negro.

Love the glows I added to the snakes' eyes and the gems on the character. I feel that in black and white they look much better than in color and that's why they look so good. I was just making a couple of final details to the sketch and that's it, finished illustration.

Ame los brillos que les agregue en los ojos a las serpientes y en las gemas del personaje. Siento que en blanco y negro se perciben mucho mejor que en color y por eso se ven tan bien. Solo estuve haciendo un par de detalles finales al boceto y listo, ilustración terminada.
