I am so excited about this sketch, since it has turned out so beautiful, I feel that I am getting better and better at digital drawing and in a very short time, it is also because of the constancy that I have had. Well! Estoy tan emocionado por este boceto, ya que me ha quedado tan hermoso, siento que cada vez mejoro en el dibujo digital y en muy poco tiempo, también es por la constancia que he tenido. Bueno! Para ponerlos en contexto un poco, elegí al personaje de Mischievous Mermaid para dibujarlo y hacerlo en escala de grises y compartirlo a su vez en el Social Media de @Splinterlands, ya que puedes hacer cualquier publicación acerca del juego.

As I practice more and more dynamic poses and little by little I'm getting more and more used to do and draw portraits, I wanted to make for this drawing a pose a little more dynamic than the ones I've already done and for that I took the time to look for many references that would help me to structure a good pose for the character. I found a pose that helped me a lot to make a pose that I liked for this drawing, although it took me a lot of time to make it, since it was something complex for me, since I'm not used to draw that kind of poses, but at the end I could make a good initial sketch and then I cleaned it in another new layer and detail it more.

Como cada vez practico más poses dinámicas y poco a poco voy soltándome de hacer y dibujar retratos, quise hacer para este dibujo una pose un poco mas dinámica de las que ya he hecho y para ello me tome el tiempo de buscar muchas referencias que me ayudaran a estructurar una buena pose para el personaje. Encontré una pose que me ayudo bastante a hacer una pose que me gustara para este dibujo, aunque me tomo mucho tiempo en hacerla, ya que era algo compleja para mi, ya que no estoy acostumbrado a dibujar ese tipo de poses, pero al final pude hacer un buen boceto inicial y luego pase a limpiarlo en otra capa nueva y detallarlo más.

I begin to add details in grayscale, I could say that I begin to paint, but I don't know why I can't say "paint", since they are only grays, blacks and whites and I don't see any color anywhere, but well, crazy things of mine. In the end if it is to do a paint job on the drawing hahaha, it doesn't matter if it's just grayscale, so don't mind me. I started adding shadows in certain parts of the character and at the same time I'm detailing the face a little bit.

Comienzo a agregar detalles en escala de grises, podría decir que comienzo a pintar, pero no se por que no me sale decirle "pintar", ya que son solo grises, negros y blancos y no veo ningún color por ninguna parte, pero bueno, cosas locas mías. Al final si es hacer un trabajo de pintura en el dibujo jajaja, no importa si es solo es escala de grises, así que no me hagan caso. Comencé agregando sombras en ciertas partes del personaje y a su vez voy detallando un poco el rostro.

After I've been working on most of the character, adding shadows and so on, I move on to the hair, which for me is one of the things that always takes me a long time to finish, but since it's only in grayscale and not in color, it's easier for me to do it. I add details to the fish that I added above the character and I add final details in the whole illustration, for this I wanted to integrate a lot of bubbles, since the character is underwater. That's all folks, even though it took me a long time to get the sketch finished, the rest of the details were done very quickly. I'm excited to see how this illustration will look like in color, but you'll have to wait to see it next week when I do the color work.

Luego que he estado trabajando en gran parte del personaje, agregando sombras y demás, paso a hacer el cabello, que para mí es una de la cosas que siempre me toman mucho tiempo en terminar, pero como solo es en escala de grises y no a color, se me hace mas fácil hacerlo. Agrego detalles al pez que agregue por encima del personaje y agrego detalles finales en toda la ilustración, que para ello quise integrar muchas burbujas, ya que el personaje esta debajo del agua. Eso es todo amigos, a pesar que me tomo mucho tiempo en tener el boceto acabo, los demás detalles los hice muy rápido. Estoy emocionado de ver como quedara esta ilustración a color, pero tendrán que esperar a verla para la próxima semana que haga el trabajo de color.
