Every time I come across a rare or peculiar card, it's as if it takes hold of me and immediately has a power, which makes me have the thought of drawing it. That was the case with this card, which is super peculiar. Mycelic Morphoids is one of those characters that you find in @Splinterlands and immediately makes you see it again and again, because of how peculiar or different it is. This is without a doubt one of the weirdest cards I've had to make in my style, but to tell you the truth, I loved this #fanart too much.

Cada vez que me encuentro una carta rara o peculiar, es como si la misma se apoderara de mi y de inmediato tuviese un poder, el cual me hiciera tener el pensamiento de dibujarla. Fue el caso con esta carta, la cual es super peculiar. Mycelic Morphoids es uno de esos personajes que encuentras en @Splinterlands y de inmediato te hace verla una y otra vez, por lo peculiar o distinta que es. Esta es sin duda una de las cartas más raras que me ha tocado hacer a mi estilo, pero a decir verdad, ame demasiado este #fanart.

From the moment I saw the original illustration, I knew immediately how I was going to do my version. Once I sat down to work on the sketch, I began to capture the idea that I had thought from the beginning. Basically my version consists of the two beings of the card itself, which and according to the description of the card, is a character that can multiply through mitosis, making that from the same Mycelic, another one is generated again.

Desde que vi la ilustración original, supe de inmediato como iba a hacer mi versión. Una vez me senté a trabajar en el boceto, comencé a plasmar la idea que había pensado desde el principio. Básicamente mi versión consiste en los dos seres de la carta en si, los cuales y según la descripción de la carta, es un personaje que puede multiplicarse mediante la mitosis, haciendo que desde un mismo Mycelic, se genero otro nuevamente.

What I did to make my sketch, was to recreate two characters in one, as in the original card, obviously I had to make them humanized. Instead of having like those tentacles of the original card, my version, being humanized, had hands and well, in general my version is humanized hahaha. I also made horns, which should never be missing in my drawings and characters.

Lo que hice para hacer mi boceto, fue recrear dos personajes en uno solo, así como en la carta original, obviamente que tenia que hacerlos humanizados. En vez de tener como esos tentáculos de la carta original, mi versión al ser humanizado, tenían manos y bueno, en general mi versión es humanizado jajaja. También les hice cuernos, que nunca deben faltar en mis dibujos y personajes.

As for the color, the truth is that the color palette of the original character was very basic, with colors like blue, red and some shades of purple, a color palette that is very similar to the one I usually work with. So painting my drawing with that color palette was not difficult at all to be honest. I painted the hair in red, to assimilate the heads in the original character, which are a bit weird to be honest, and the rest of the character I painted in shades of blue and purple.

En cuanto al color, la verdad que la paleta de color del personaje original era muy básica, con colores como azul, rojo y algunos tonos en morados, la verdad una paleta de color que se asimila mucho a la que normalmente suelo trabajar. Así que pintar mi dibujo con esa paleta de color, no fue para nada difícil para ser sincero. El pelo lo pinte de rojo, para asimilar las cabezas en el personaje original, que son un tanto raras la verdad y el resto del personaje lo pinte en tonos de azul y morado.

To finish with the drawing, the last thing I did was to work the shadows and some glitter. The shadows I did them in shades of blue and dark purple and the shines I did them with white paint in areas that in my taste or to my opinion, would highlight and embellish the drawing more. And at the end I thought of making some bubbles with dark blue paint and some glitter and the truth is that they looked great in my opinion. And ready, that would be all in this drawing.

Para culminar con el dibujo, lo ultimo que hice fue trabajar las sombras y algunos brillos. Las sombras las hice en tonos de azul y morado oscuro y los brillos los hice con pintura blanca en zonas que en mi gusto o parecer, le hicieran para resaltar y embellecer mas el dibujo. Ya a lo ultimo se me ocurrió hacer unas burbujas con pintura azul oscuro y con algunos brillos y la verdad que quedaron super bien a mi parecer. Y listo, eso seria todo en este dibujo.
