Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I bring again to the table a black and white sketch inspired by a character from @Splinterlands. I chose "Naga Assassin" because I really liked the complexity of the character, as I feel it goes a lot with my drawing style, so well, I took her as inspiration to draw her.
Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Traigo nuevamente a la mesa un boceto en blanco y negro inspirado en un personaje de @Splinterlands. Escogí a "Naga Assassin" porque me gusto mucho la complejidad del personaje, ya que siento que va mucho con mi estilo de dibujo, así que bueno, la tome como inspiración para dibujarla.
I started making the sketch, for this I used some references I took from Pinterest to make the character in the pose he is in, since I wanted to do it in a perspective that was the ones I always do, which are front or profile and I really liked how it turned out, I feel that the pose he has is very dynamic.
Comencé haciendo el boceto, para ello me ayude de algunas referencias que tome de Pinterest para hacer al personaje en la pose que esta, ya que quería hacerlo en una perspectiva que fuese las que siempre hago, que son de frente o de perfil y realmente me gusto como quedo, siento que es muy dinámica la pose que tiene.

After I've been doing let's say the initial sketch, which are just stripes without much definition, I'm going to clean the whole canvas in another new layer. I had thought of leaving the sketch simple with the line art and that's it, but not long ago I saw some drawing works that were only in line art with this idea or style and they looked very good, so I wanted to try it and the sketch to give more life to the drawing.
Luego que he estado haciendo digamos que el boceto inicial, que son solo rayas sin mucha definición, paso a limpiar todo el lienzo en otra capa nueva. Había pensado en dejar el boceto así simple con el line art y ya, pero no hace mucho vi unos trabajos de dibujo que eran solo en line art con este idea o estilo y se veían muy buenos, así que lo quise intentar y el boceto para darle más vida al dibujo.
What I did was to add details in line art throughout the drawing, you could say that it is as if the lines I added simulated the shadows. I personally love the way it turned out, plus I used a different brush to do the line art and it gave it such a different vibe from the way I was doing the sketches.
Lo que hice fue agregar detalles en line art en todo el dibujo, se podría decir que es como si las lineas que agregue simularan las sombras. A mi en lo personal me encanto demasiado como quedo, ademas use un pincel diferente para hacer el line art y le dio una vibra tan diferente a como venia haciendo los bocetos.

After I did all the line art work, I went on to do the "painting", which really doesn't have much color work, it's just adding gray and black in the drawing, to give it more contrast and define it, so that we are not left with a very simple sketch in line art and that's it. I feel that the touches of gray and black paint give it that unique touch that enhances the drawing and makes it look much better, according to me. Luego que hice todo el trabajo de line art, pase a hacer la "pintura", que en realidad no tiene gran trabajo de color, solo es agregar gris y negro en el dibujo, para darle más contrate y definir el mismo, para que así no nos quede un boceto muy simple en line art y ya. Siento que los toques de pintura en grises y negro le dan ese toque único que hace realzar el dibujo y hacerlo ver mucho mejor, según yo.
