Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! After a few days of going through an artistic block or discouragement, I'm back to being active again, so I took the opportunity to get creative and do something for @Splinterlands Social Media and as usual lately, I drew NAGA FIRE WIZARD in black and white or grayscale. I loved too much the final result of this first version of the character.
Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Después de unos días de estar pasando un bloqueo artístico o un desanimo, vuelvo a estar nuevamente activo, así que aproveche de andar creativo y hacer algo para el Social Media de @Splinterlands y como es de costumbre últimamente, dibuje a NAGA FIRE WIZARD en blanco y negro o escala de grises. Ame demasiado el resultado final de esta primera versión del personaje.
I started making the sketch in a first layer in the drawing program, which this time I used Krita. I took the original character as a reference, as usual, so I could look at the elements that make up the character and add them to my drawing. I had added hands to the drawing, but then I decided to remove them, since I didn't see that they made any sense or simply didn't look good in this composition, according to me.
Comencé haciendo el boceto en un primera capa en el programa de dibujo, que en esta ocasión use Krita. Tome como referencia al personaje original, como es de costumbre, para así fijarme en los elementos que integran el mismo y agregarlos a mi dibujo. Le había agregado manos al dibujo, pero luego decidí quitarlas, ya que no veía que hicieran algún sentido o simplemente no se veían bien en esta composición, según yo.

After having been working on the first sketch for quite a while and seeing that I had everything I needed, I went to add another layer and clean everything up, leaving the line art work ready. After that, I started working on what would become the "color" or paint job. Using different brushes to work on the illustration and little by little the illustration came to life.
Luego de haber estado trabajando en el primer boceto por un buen rato y ver que tenia todo lo necesario en el mismo, me fui a agregar otra nueva capa y limpiar todo, dejando el trabajo de line art listo. Después de eso, comencé a trabajar en lo que vendría siendo el "color" o trabajo de pintura. Usando distintos pinceles para trabajar la ilustración y poco a poco fue cobrando vida la misma.

I was doing all the painting work using watercolor brushes and markers, and I must say that I love how it turned out. I have taken my fanaticism for watercolors to the digital world and I see the results they leave in my illustrations and I love it too much.
Fui haciendo todo el trabajo de pintura usando pinceles de acuarela y marcadores, y debo decir que me ha encantado como ha quedado. He llevado mi fanatismo por las acuarelas al mundo digital y veo los resultados que estas dejan en mis ilustraciones y amo demasiado.
