Along the Pembrook, a babbling creek that wends its way through the heart of the Maywaren Forest, there lives a creature so beautiful that a single look can drive one mad with desire.
Long hair. Full lips. Perfect skin. She is queen of the river nymphs and a guardian of the ley lines and boundary between the Fey Plane and the Splinterlands, defending her charge from interlopers seeking to harness the secrets and magic of the fey for their own purpose. With her intoxicating water magic, she can bewitch and beguile others to do her will or call upon the fey to fight for her cause.
Despite the boasts and jests passed around in taverns, the locals steer well clear of the Pembrook. Travelers passing through are warned to do the same. Most take heed, but a handful ignore these warnings, believing their will and their wits strong enough to resist the fey’s charms. The majority come back with nothing to show for their efforts. However, every now and then, some unfortunate soul will return, babbling incoherently or spouting nonsensical poetry about passion and beauty and nature. Link

Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I come again to participate in the Social Media Challange of @Splinterlands. This time with a new stylized sketch of the character Pembrook Nymph. I had always been drawn to that card in the game, so it was the one I chose to make my version.
Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Vengo nuevamente a participar en el Social Media Challange de @Splinterlands. Esta vez con un nuevo boceto estilizado del personaje Pembrook Nymph. Siempre me había llamado la atención esa carta del juego, así que fue la que elegí para hacer mi versión.
I started making the sketch, taking the original character as a reference. I wanted to make the drawing, focusing more on a portrait of him, but half-body. So I took a picture of myself, with the pose I wanted Pembrook Nymph to have for my version and started working on what would become the sketch.
Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando como referencia el personaje original. Quería hacer el dibujo, centrándome más en un retrato del mismo, pero a medio cuerpo. Así que me tome una foto a mi mismo, con la pose que quería que tuviera Pembrook Nymph para mi versión y comencé a trabajar todo lo que vendría siendo el boceto.

I added all the elements and details I could to my version, stylizing everything to my style and taste. Once I had all the sketch structured and everything well defined, I started to detail it. The line art is one of my favorite parts and since now I have rescued and focused more on making a good line art, I enjoy it twice as much, since it is something I wanted my drawings to have and be recognizable, not to mention the part of the own style and so on.
Agregue todos los elementos y detalles que pude a mi versión, estilizando todo a mi estilo y gusto. Una vez que tuve todo el boceto estructurado y todo bien definido, comencé a detallar el mismo. El line art es una de mis partes favoritas y como ahora he rescatado y me he centrado mas en hacer un buen line art, lo disfruto el doble, ya que es algo que quería que mis dibujos tengan y sean reconocibles, sin dejar de mencionar la parte del estilo propio y demás.

Once I had the line art ready, I started working on the "color" which is gray in its entirety and the details. To make my stylized sketches, what I do is to add a base color, in general it is always a gray and then I go detailing everything with black or gray, alternating in tones from light to dark. Also this helps me to see and analyze in more detail how the color drawing could be in the future, so it's something positive in my opinion and that's why I do it and I really enjoy it.
Una vez que tuve el line art listo, comencé a trabajar el "color" que es gris en su totalidad y los detalles. Para hacer mis bocetos estilizados, lo que hago es agregar un color base, en general siempre es un gris y luego voy detallando todo con negro o grises, alternando en tonos desde claros a oscuros. Ademas esto me ayuda a ver y analizar mas detalladamente como podría quedar el dibujo a color en un futuro, así que es algo positivo a mi parecer y por eso lo hago y lo disfruto la verdad.
