Definitely this was a character that I saw drawn a lot and I always wanted to draw my version, but I don't know why I had never done it, until today, I finally do my #fanart of QUEEN MYCELIA. I'm always amazed by the characters that you can see and find in @Splinterlands

Definitivamente este era un personaje que veía que dibujaban mucho y yo siempre quise dibujar mi versión, pero no se por que nunca lo había hecho, hasta hoy, que por fin hago mi #fanart de QUEEN MYCELIA. Siempre me sorprenden los personajes que puedes llegar a ver y encontrar en la pagina de @Splinterlands

I started making the sketch for what would be my #fanart of this incredible character, that since I saw him for the first time, I was super in love. I looked for references of bodies to base on some that I liked and that would work for me, but the truth is that I didn't find any that caught my attention, so little by little I was structuring the body in my own way and in the end I managed to get a good anatomical body that I liked.

Comencé haciendo el boceto para lo que seria mi #fanart de este increíble personaje, que desde que lo vi por primera vez, quede super enamorado. Busque referencias de cuerpos para basarme en alguna que me gustara y me sirviera, pero la verdad no encontré ninguna que llamara mi atención, así que poco a poco fui estructurando el cuerpo a mi manera y al final logre obtener un cuerpo anatómico bien y que me gustara.

Once I had the sketch finished with everything I wanted to do to her, I went on to work with the color. For the color palette to use for my version of Queen Mycelia, I noticed that the original character had colors ranging from red, green to black, so that was the color palette I used to paint the drawing. I realized that the skin of the character was like light purple, but the truth is that I painted my version in a very light blue color and I really liked the result.

Una vez que tuve el boceto terminado con todo lo que quería hacerle, seguí a trabajar con el color. Para la paleta de color a usar para mi versión de Queen Mycelia, me fije que el personaje original tenia colores que iban desde el rojo, verde hasta el negro, así que fue la paleta de color que use para pintar el dibujo. Me di cuenta que la piel del personaje era como morado claro, pero la verdad mi versión la pinte de un color azul muy claro y el resultado que dejo el la piel me gusto mucho.

Working the color little by little, the whole drawing came to life with each layer of paint. After I had the whole drawing with its color work ready, I went to do the details on it. I started to make the shadows with blue in a dark tone and with the help of black paint, I gave much more darkness to certain areas. To finish, what I did was to make the linear and some details in white and that was it, that would be all.

Trabajando poco a poco el color, todo el dibujo fue cobrando vida con cada capa de pintura. Luego que tenia todo el dibujo con su trabajo de color listo, me fui a hacer los detalles en el mismo. Comencé a hacer las sombras con azul en un tono oscuro y con ayuda de pintura negra, le di mucha más oscuridad a ciertas zonas. Ya para culminar, lo que hice fue hacer el linear y algunos detalles en blanco y listo, eso seria todo.
