Escogí al personaje de Silent Sha-vi, lo había dibujado antes en tradicional, pero no me había gustado tanto, así que esta vez lo quise hacer en digital y en escalas de grises. From the beginning I knew I wanted to make it humanized and in portrait, so I went to Pinterest, which never disappoints me, to find some reference that I liked, since I also wanted to work this sketch a little realistic, to explore a little that style of drawing in digital. I'm not going to lie, I spent a lot of time doing this sketch, mostly at the beginning, because I had the idea of making it realistic, so the time to leave it well proportioned, if it took me a long time, but it was worth it, because the sketch was very good.

Desde el inicio sabia que lo quería hacer humanizado y en retrato, así que entre a Pinterest, que nunca me defrauda, para encontrar alguna referencia que me gustara, ya que también quise trabajar este boceto un poco realista, para explorar un poco ese estilo de dibujo en digital. No les voy a mentir, estuve mucho tiempo haciendo este boceto, mas que todo al inicio, ya que tenia la idea de hacerlo realista, entonces el tiempo para dejarlo bien proporcionado, si me tomo mucho tiempo, pero valió la pena, porque el boceto quedo muy bien.

I was working on the sketch in infinite layers, until I got the line art clean and from there, I started to paint the details. I was using Krita to work this drawing, in Clip Studio Paint I have been using watercolor brushes and in this program I found one that is not so bad and I liked it, so it was the one I chose to do all the painting work, absolutely everything I did with that watercolor brush.

Fui trabajando el boceto en infinidades de capas, hasta quedarme con el line art limpio y de ahí, partí a comenzar a darle detalles de pintura. Estuve usando Krita para trabajar este dibujo, en Clip Studio Paint he venido usando pinceles de acuarelas y en este programe encontré uno que no es tan malo y me gusto, así que fue el que escogí para hacer todo el trabajo de pintura, absolutamente todo lo hice con ese pincel de acuarela.

Finally I added a couple of details in white with an ink brush, as well as those kind of bubbles in gray, which I'm really enjoying doing that kind of details to my illustrations lately, since I don't usually work with backgrounds and I feel it's a good complement to the illustration.

Por ultimo agregue un par de detalles en blanco con un pincel de tinta, al igual que esas especies de burbujas en gris, que la verdad me están gustando muchísimo hacer ese tipo de detalles a mis ilustraciones últimamente, ya que no suelo trabajar fondos y siento que es un buen complemento para la misma.
