For this week's social media challenge, I chose the Lunakari Mistress card. As this week's Social Media Challenge is free in terms of the theme of realization for it, I decided to draw and share a fan art, since that's what I really do, draw. I think it's also a good way to promote Splinterlands on my social media art networks. I start by sketching the character, taking the original card as a reference. At the same time that I make the sketch, I take the elements and certain features to structure my version of Lunakari Mistress. I always try to make sure that my version is faithful to the original character, I do this so that I do not make or integrate something that really should not or is not in the composition of the card.

Comienzo haciendo el boceto del personaje, tomando como referencia a la carta original. A la vez que voy haciendo el boceto, voy tomando los elementos y ciertos rasgos para estructurar mi versión de Lunakari Mistress. Siempre trato de que mi versión sea fiel al personaje original, esto lo hago para que no hacerle o integrarle algo que realmente no deba o no este en la composición de la carta.

When I'm done with the sketch, I go to work on the line art and get ready to start working on the color. To choose the color palette to use in the drawing, I actually take it from the character itself. The only thing I do besides having as a reference the color palette of the original character, is to help me with the chromatic circle and thus have a better harmony of colors.

Cuando he terminado de hacer el boceto, me voy a trabajar el line art y así prepararme para comenzara trabajar el color. Para escoger la paleta de color que usare en el dibujo, realmente la tomo del mismo personaje en sí. Lo único que yo hago a parte de tener como referencia la paleta de color del personaje original, es ayudarme del circulo cromático y así tener una mejor armonía de los colores.

I start by adding a base color to the drawing, which I always start with the skin. After that, I add all the colors of each zone in the drawing. After all that, I start detailing the whole drawing. I start with the redness of the skin, from the face to the rest of the body and so I work all the skin in general.

Comienzo agregando un color base al dibujo, el cual siempre comienzo con la piel. Luego de ello, voy agregando todos los colores de cada zona en el dibujo. Después de todo eso, me dispongo a comenzar a detallar todo el dibujo. Comienzo con las rojeces de la piel, desde la cara hasta el resto del cuerpo y así voy trabajando toda la piel en general.

The skin is always the first thing I do, then I go to work on the hair and finally I leave to detail the clothes and add the final details. The only thing that took me some time to do was to make the details of the magic thing, both of his hand and the reflections that it made on the character, but the rest, everything was great to work on.

La piel siempre es lo primero que hago, para luego irme a trabajar el cabello y por ultimo dejo para detallar la ropa y agrego los detalles finales. Lo único que si me tomo tiempo hacer fue hacer los detalles de la cosa mágica esa, tanto de su mano y de los reflejos que esta hacia en el personaje, pero del resto, todo super bien de trabajar.
