Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! Again I make another fan art of @splinterlands game for the #SocialMediaChallenge. This time I chose the character of River Nymph, because it was too cute and tender and since this week the social media is free to do anything related to the game, I decided to make and share this drawing. Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Nuevamente hago otro fan art del juego de @splinterlands para el #SocialMediaChallenge. Esta vez escogí al personaje de River Nymph, ya que se me hizo demasiado lindo y tierno y puesto a que esta semana el social media es tema libre para hacer cualquier cosa referente al juego, decidí hacer y compartir este dibujo. Splinterlands tienes muy buenos personajes y es un muy buen juego, así que entren a los enlaces que siempre les dejo y conozcan más sobre el mismo.

I started making the sketch and for that I used as a reference a picture I found of a girl on Pinterest, because I liked the pose she was in and I saw it as very convenient to make my version of River Nymph. After spending a long time structuring the character, I started working on the line art, which is one of my favorite things to do.

Comencé haciendo el boceto y para ello use como referencia una foto que encontré de una chica en Pinterest, ya que la pose en la que está estaba me gusto mucho y la verdad la vi super conveniente para hacer mi versión de River Nymph. Luego de estar un rato largo estructurando al personaje, me pase a trabajar el line art, que es una de mis cosas favoritas de hacer.

When I had all the line art work completely done, I went to work on the color. The color palette I used this time was taken from the original character, but this time I wanted to use more purple in most of the drawing. If we look at the original drawing, the color palette used is cold, as it has colors like blue, purple and light turquoise, but I decided to go for a more analogous color palette, in this case using more purple colors and harmonizing with red and the truth is that it looks great.

Cuando tuve por completo todo el trabajo de line art listo, me fui a trabajar el color. La paleta de color que use esta vez la tome del personaje original, pero esta vez quise usar más el color morado en gran parte del dibujo. Si observamos el dibujo original, la paleta de color usada es fría, ya que tiene colores como azul, morado y turquesa claro, pero yo decidí irme por una paleta de color más análoga, en este caso usando mas colores morados y armonizando con rojo y la verdad se ve super bien.

Finally the only thing I did was to make the final details, like adding a little more shadows and detailing some areas in the drawing. I finish adding the shines that I do in the hair and other areas. A drawing that didn't take me much time to finish and the truth is that it looks super nice.

Por ultimo lo único que hice fue hacer los detalles finales, como agregar un poco más sombras y detallando mas algunas zonas en el dibujo. Culmino agregando los brillos que hago en el pelo y demás zonas. Un dibujo que no me tomo mucho tiempo en terminar y la verdad se ve super lindo.
